Blue mage and why I like the idea

I think it is a little weird that there are so many people who are mad about this, especially people who say "Blue Mage is my favorite job." If it was truly you're favorite job you would be over the moon that your "favorite" job is getting added to the game AND it is the only job to have IT'S OWN CONTENT! I would kill to have something like this for Summoner... Are you kidding me? The Fact that Blue Mage gets to have it's own Monster Arena type content that no other job can do is amazing! I feel like to many people are crying because the word Limited is attached to the from of the word Job and they feel somehow they are getting cheated out of something when in reality Blue Mage Players are getting more than any other job has been given thus far. Be happy it is even being added to the game.

"But I want to be able to play in a party" Then make a premade party... how hard is that? "But I can't do end game content" Ok I understand that, but you have 15 other jobs you do end game content with, I fail to understand the problem. You know what you can do that other jobs can't do? LEARN ABILITIES FROM MONSTERS OUT IN THE WILD. You can go explore the world and see all the beautiful places they have created WITH OTHER BLUE MAGES I might add, in a party and learn abilities together. WOW! You also have content tailor made just for you.

Sorry for the rant, I just don't understand how everyone can be so "enraged" about this implementation when it hasn't even been added to the game yet. You have absolutely no idea how it's going to play or what it's going to be like. Had they made it a regular job it would either be overpowered or underwhelming and people would still be bitching. Let it be what it is and see how it goes. If it sucks then it sucks, but at least reserve your judgment until then. I'm going to laugh when it comes out and it is the most fun thing to be added to the game in a long time.

Dear lord, it doesn't have to be added to the game for us to take issue with the restrictions. Yes, there's 15 other jobs in the game, but guess what? NONE of them are BLU, so that's completely irrelevant. It's own content does not make up for it not being able to access the rest of the game like the other jobs.

Sure, I like the learning mechanic and I'm sure the carnival will be fine, but I'd trade all that shit away in a heartbeat to make it a real job. Because glorified triple triad ain't worth losing the ability to main it.
