Can we PLEASE get a GC Re-Assignment?

Again...this whole grand company reward complaints is unfounded. You get weapons corresponding to your GC. The only real difference from one to the next is really the elemental alignments.

Please stop complaining and demanding GC reassignment...it asks you a zillion times to choose one and to confirm and told you that swapping afterwards was not available so take is as it is.

If you are gonna want to start demanding GC reassignment. I'm going to demand that once you swap GCs you lose all company seals and all items associated with that grand company.

And it is untrue that you have to do GC related events by being the same GC.

For one almost all GC events are solo. For two GC caravans while do have an optional for groups but um...I solo them yawn. For three things like the primal fight quests while you get the quest with your GC your friends can participate and they can do it also with their own respective GC.

If you complaining about items it's just color change for GC and elemental alignment which um kinda moot point.

I think the compromise here would be able to allow members of different companies to assist with other caravan security missions. You have to be of the appropriate company to initiate, but your party members could join you in on it. Similar to the leves, where you may not get the full reward, but at least you can help in combat and not just be on the sidelines.

I would prefer this. Your friend could "voucher" for you and bring other people in, perhaps people from other GCs only suffer a reduced reward (less seals) or just gil (no seals).

Not to mention, everyone and their mom had to do quests for all three companies. Maybe doing missions for other GCs earns you that company's seals and only the initiate level purchases become available to you; certainly nothing that would require a rank.

And maybe create a reason for people to help out other Grand Companies.

There is no sense of "belonging to something" even with GC restrictions.

I see no reason why we shouldn't be able to change if we choose. It's more trouble than it's worth for the devs to try to balance every single GC item so that players don't complain.

Mmmm not really just elemental alignments if you look carefully - noticed after reading JP forums talking about the pants/shoes from Uldah is the only one having craftman skill up bonus on gear and currently the best one available.

Although the stat doesn't seem to affect much of crafting as a player most would want the best gear they can get for whatever class they are doing and this just kind of killed it.

There are items such as Flame Sergeant's Sarouel/Flame Sergeant's Crakows which can only be obtained from 1 city but we will balance them out with items released in future so not being in specific GC to obtain specific gear! type of situation wont occur so please don't worry.

また、ロミンサンボウ／グリダニアンショートボウ／ウルダハンコンポジットボウに関して、確かにダメージ値だけを見るとウルダハンコンポジットボウが強く見えますが、1秒間あたりのダメージ量（DPS）では、3つの装備品に大きな差はありません。
Also for bow for Limsa/Gridania/Uldah - although if you look at the damage value Uldah's one looks strong but for DPS there isn't much difference.

Basically JP players saw this post and some are pissed off that Rep said "released in future" if you know from FFXI when they say "In future" it can be months later which just puts that other city in lead and unlike FFXI you can't spend more GC points on other cities to try and obtain so that isn't helping that rep post either, they also saying for the bow even though the Damage value is different and wont affect much on the DPS but how about damage on WS? stuff like that..

as always....dont even know why SE dont balanced thing out now and just add stuff that way to make player base go rage, and if i remember right, they had already said "balanced-in-the-future" once when companies upgrade and now this

GJ on this part : Suits All Classes, prefer craft items for all class in the future

edit: not exactly what they said, but they said that player base can choose the companies they like and join and items in the future will distribute fair for all companies or something around that line

edit 2: SE can add 1-2 piece of armor for each discipline every release if they dont bother to add the full set (mostly they dont, as far as I notice SE theory : stats > fashion)

exactly what I responded on that JP thread, others also saying same thing... different looks but same stats.

Doesn't really help YoshiP either when he said please choose whichever GC you want to enlist in since there is nothing to worry about.

Yep. That's what I thought they were gonna do initially when he said "don't worry choose any company".

When they didn't do that, I was like, O.o????
