The complaints were at their worst during ARR, year 1. When players were actually still trying to first-time clear those dungeons at a pretty high rate. I can't imagine when most parties I see in there are Level 70, that someone's doing a first time clear.

It is incredibly odd to me that they did this change four years after the fact, as they released Stormblood. I don't buy it was because of complaints. There's a different reason.
