Also, people who are open to advice don't normally respond with things such as:
teaching is a totally different thing compared to advice, teaching is when you teach someone how to do something correctly, advice is usually for improvement or other things related.
Now you are just being pedantic. Teaching and advice can be used interchangeably in this situation, pretending otherwise in a thinly veiled attempt to back-peddle the contrary claims you are making isn't going to fly.
The best part is, needing to have basic things like "don't fight over aggro with the MT" explained to you qualifies as "teaching" even by your own warped definition.
