While I'd love nothing more than to believe the several people who miraculously showed up in the thread claiming witness, none of them have provided evidence. My takeaway is this. If tank really did suck, at least he wasn't dumb enough to get caught breaking tos like party guy

Someone mentioned external source like reddit to see how the TC was doing on the run. It seems someone who was in the same pt as the TC had parsed him. If you understand the parse, you would see how this topic has become a thing.

I don't have to provide anything else other than i posted, i was kicked 1 Run of it 1 wipe, also wanna mention i was doing everything right, now that i think about it probably was a group of trolls, also i was upset because they sent that message as soon as they kicked me before i could say anything back, Another example of abuse of the kick system. also i don't need any teaching, I Have over 250 comms.

So let me get this straight. You said nothing about being new nor asked any questions, stole aggro from our main tank, did not hold the boss in one spot but rather moved him from one side to the other to the other to the other making us all rethink mechs on the fly which in turn was why we wiped because the aoes were just crazy, used requiescat but not holy spirit, didn't reply to any of our party chat texts asking what you were doing, annnnnnd we're the bad guys for vote dismissing you? Nah. I didn't expect my good friend to post the diddy in party chat, but there IS a check box to filter out profanities.

A picture of his parse is on the Sh*tpostXIV subreddit you can review it there. My friends were with OP in the run. They have a copy of the logs I can see if I can't get it for you. WHM friend in that group told me she did more dps than him. So it was a combination of unwilling to listen to advice, foul play in trying to MT as OT, and low dps leading to kick.

They could have reported him based on his actions taken during the instance, which supposedly were disruptive enough to count as harassment in their opinion.


The links to third-party data were to show people what the person was doing, and not as something to be used to report Square Enix.

you cant report ppl because he cant play properly. OP cant play tank properly not because he want to insult the rest of party,he just dont understand how to tank.

First off: You can obviously try to report anyone for anything, if you believe there is a reason to. (and as long as you do it in "good faith", aka actually having reason to believe that there is something going on, I dont think it would cause as abuse of the report function - see something fishy? Report it - if it turns out that it wasnt a poorly programmed bot but someones cat accidently stepping all over the keyboard, it wont be an issue)

Second: The problem here is that what the OP was doing can easly be classified as griefing and harrassment - stealing aggro, spinning the boss, not reacting to anything said in partychat, wiping the party as result of all of this... thats all behaviour someone who would be intentionally griefing the party would show aswell and you cant really tell (in the moment) which is which. He wouldnt be reported because he played bad but because he played in a way that was harmful for the party.

And sorry, "he just dont understand to tank" doesnt really fly as an excuse when we're talking about the current raidtier, even if its just NM. He had at the very least 10 previous raids and probably about 20 primal-fights or so to figure out that in a group with 2 tanks, one is the MT and the other one isnt supposed to steal aggro.
I dont think its a far fetched expectation to assume that someone who has reached Alphascape 3 is familiar with that basics of their job - and I mean basics, not worldfirstclearplay. Stuff like your rotation, the difference between tank-stance and off-stance for a tank, moving out of AoEs, knowing how to handle a stack marker

I would have believed that a person playing like that was nothing but a troll and deserved a report for griefing, instead of assuming that its just someone who doesnt know better. Someone who doesnt know better simply shouldnt be in that content (and apparently even OP agrees to that), specially not when unwilling to take advice - which circles back to harrassment, in a broad sense of the word: Chosing to stay at a level of play that ruins runs for 3-23 people.
