Just had my first sub get back from Purgatory and it unlocks ship #4 (no surprise, really).

Expected, but handy to have confirmed. Care to share your drops? ^^

I was just wondering if anyone had come up with some decent builds for 40 yet. I have an idea but before I start crafting all these curious what other builds other folks were looking at!

Its a bit early to say. Its reasonable to assume based on airships/subs to date that optimised rare runs will be where the actions at, we need to be a bit surer about whats where to determine needed range and optimal build. Concealed > Kanayama > Purgatory may be a short option(Rug/Chest/Salvaged > Boule > ???).
Personally, I havent built any new parts since patch - my all unkiu's were 40 in 3 runs and I have enough shark and unkiu parts in the company chestTARDIS to fill and level the 4th slot.

That said, a few possibilities jump out;

All Colecanth could be a possibility, but at 80 range is probably a bit limited for getting that far up the map. If Komura & DS5 turn out to have something else decent on them Neo > Kon > Ds5 may be worth it(dont know about other servers but abyss & slab are still reasonably priced on moogle)

C/U/C/C (175/20/80/95/100)
Sacrifices retrieval for max surveillance and decent everything else, probably a good rare farmer if we can find a <95 range run for it.

C/W/C/C (175/40/50/110/90)
Keeps capped surveilance and sacrifices some favour for a probably quite usefull little nudge up on range, at the expense of going at snails pace.

U/U/W/C (110/90/50/105/105)
Could be a good generalist with some chance at rare and adequate retrieval, if you want pockets full of rubbish, but is again painfully slow.

C/C/W/C (130/95/80/70/115)
Another more generalist build with better chance at rares and the speed issue fixed but at the price of even lower range. This is the current highest statted build at a total of 490 stat points.
