Chain pulling mobs is NOT the norm, moreso when people need the time between pulls to recover a bit unless you mean coordinated premade groups that know exactly how far they can push things. Another thing is making huge pulls as far as you can, that yes, are no longer rare, but they are still not mandatory and thats up to the tank and healer (if one of those dont want big pulls is usually better to not do it)
