We Really Need To Talk About The State And Path Of FFXIV

Please read my comments and don't put words in my mouth. I DO NOT WANT GEAR HANDED TO ME. That is the opposite of what I want. I want more paths to improve my character. Repeatedly insisting I should do expert roulettes or raiding is missing the point. There can be more options and more content. Why does have to only be tomes or raids? I've played MMORPGs for over a decade, so declaring that I do not know what they are is a condescending insult.

I was never saying that you wanted it handed to you—that was hypothetical for the sake of the argument at hand. You were basically putting words in my mouth saying that I said you “don’t deserve it”; I gave you an example of when I would actually tell you you didn’t deserve something (i.e., if you wanted it just handed to you). Use your reading comprehension and critical thinking skills.

I don’t care how long you’ve played MMOs, nor did I mention anywhere that it even mattered. Not sure why you’re bringing it up to me.

I told you all the options you had to progress from i350 to i370. Go back and read them. I also said that there was nothing wrong with implementing new systems, but, again, you seem to have not even read that. What we have right now is what we have. If you want the gear progression, you have to put in the time for it utilitizing the systems this game currently offers. If you won’t put in the time, then you will just have to make do with what you have.

I also never said anything about my opinion being “law”. Again, you didn’t actually read what I wrote. However, it is solid fact that casual content does not require high item-level gear, and that high item-level gear is overkill for it; that’s not an opinion, but just how it is.
