Perhaps it's a cross promotion with Blizzard. They just really, really want people to check out Battle for Azeroth.

Well people who got bored of farming light in Pagos, will instead go farm azerite/rng loot in WoW.
I rather keep farming light lol (got my war main to 120 and quickly got fed up during the heroics farming process - unsubbed, again)
Oh, and about OP, odd since I didn't have any of the problems he's mentionning : even ran that rising instance twice in a row.
I was in a Pagos, and at 5 PM we had a server message saying the Rising event had started. I went there immediately after my Pagos run and npc was there.

Aye, got tired of that too, but does make you notice something over here.
Dungeons in ff14 are almost dead. The gear is rubbish. The tomes aren't necessary at the moment and other sources give far more. There's no other good loot or replay value. The relic has been moved away from dungeons entirely.
I can't remember the last time I ran a dungeon tbh. There's no reason to. Which is a shame, they can be fun and look amazing and are definitely more engaging than hit 2000 training dummies in a big field.

I feel the same. And I'm an Omni-crafter. Granted, I took a break from it this patch, but the fact I still have far more Creation than I know what to do with says a lot. If you aren't into crafting, Creation either is given to friends or sits at 2k. Say what you will about WoW's RNG system, however at least you're constantly working towards a goal and not waiting on a Tuesday reset.Aye, got tired of that too, but does make you notice something over here.
