    Easier but slower. Reddit has a similar thread discussing how good four Warriors are yet numerous replies highlight three DPS and a healer. Some are using Titan Egi to sub in for the tank because DPS roles kill it faster despite how strong Inner Release is. Regardless, a simple solution is to add enrages next time so you can't just bring tanks.

    As for you quitting. You and others would be replaced by players long since disillusioned by how boring and unengaging most four man content is in this game. There's a reason one of the most popular requests is bring Mythic+ over from WoW.

    You have to recognize the absolute chasm of difference between current expert dungeons and anything that is going to get Vote Abandoned. I don't want my expert roulette to be Rathalos EX either but there is surely so much room for increasing the difficulty of these dungeons that saying "they could make Expert roulette dungeons significantly harder" is hard to argue against.

    There is so much braindead easy content in this game I don't understand how anyone who has played it for any length of time (and amassed any skill at it) could be saddened by the idea of SE stepping up their game. What better place than a roulette literally designated for "experts"?

    There’s literally no piece of Extreme content that serves as an MSQ roadblock in this game. Considering they’ve even taken out the post-main expansion dungeons to trim down the MSQ because people complained it “took too long”, you don’t have to worry about a thing.

    Which is a perfectly fine. In such a scenario, you have leveling dungeons are the requirement. Keep those as they are and move Expert dungeons as purely optional harder alternative. Not unreasonable hard, but hard enough tanks can't pull entire rooms.

    I don't have a difficulty level for Super Vault (Vault EX - omg yespls) but I think there could be more difficulty within the main story. I think dungeons like the Vault and trials like Shinryu, Tsykuyomi and even Nidhogg are important. They bring an element of potential failure that you don't experience anywhere else in the main story and that allows people who beat them to get a taste of a sense of accomplishment for their character.

    I would never advocate for any EX trial, 4man or 8man, to gate people out of their story progression. That doesn't mean I don't think the dev team can't learn from this trial a bit and help scale up some 4man instances, yes some of which would likely fall into the msq.

    Again - not calling for Rathalos to suddenly appear in our next story dungeon, but I would appreciate it if I went into the next dungeon in the main story and got knocked on my butt because I was too complacent. Nothing insurmountable, but maybe at least some bosses that provide some chance of wiping from something other than "the healer died and we don't have a rdm or smn" which is pretty much the only way you can wipe to current dungeon "bosses" and even then it isn't guaranteed.

    Common complaints were the MSQ took too long and/or people didn't like being interrupted by having to stop and do a dungeon, especially DPS. So more or less, yes.

    I don't mind the idea of the fight and harder 4 player content but I absolutely despise the overuse and reliance on one-shot mechanics for nearly everything.

    Make a big mistake, your dead
    Make a mistake, your dead
    Make a teeny tiny mistake, your dead
    Don't make a mistake but the person next to you does, your dead
    Nobody makes a mistake but has a less than perfect latency... ooohhhh your SOOOO dead

    There has to be other ways to punish players for mistakes besides off with their head...
