I'm specifically referring to the difficulty and 4 person size.

I think the difficulty speaks for it itself.

The light party size means it's much easier to coordinate than 8 person groups. It's far more feasible to grab a few people off your friends list and go, and FF has very little high end content like that. I know the dev team does have concerns about the challenge in designing such content, but I think Rathalos Extreme is a pretty good example that it can be done.

I'd like to see this development direction continue.

Same. This is the perfect way to bring harder 4 man content to us. Please SE work on more of these please. THIS is what can bring freshness to the game.

It's probably the first time I've successfully been able to use Raid Finder (outside of a JP data centre) and actually get in to the duty pretty quickly. Albeit I would like more rewards in the future for doing 4man EX content, I don't think the current armour and few other things are enough. Some nice weapon glamour please SE, dragontooth swords and dragonbone staffs....

Like Rathalos: please don't. Keep the trinity intact, let all roles play as their roles and do not force them into 2 button action.
Also, please find another way of making things difficult than relying so heavily on instagibs. It's unimaginative.

Yet in many EX and Savage fights healers are expected to dps as well or get replaced. *facepalm*

I want more ex and even maybe savage 4 man content.
Finding 8 ppl with the same schedule is hard, especially when we work and have different time schedules.
4 man is way more easy to coordinate, find and enjoy the content with more please!

Yeah, how about an instance where you crawl through a huge place with a lot of monster and you encouter let say... hummm 2 boss on your way to the end where a huge harder boss await your team of 4 player.

4 man trial will never be challenging due to the fact they have to be done by only 4 player : Low HP because 2 DpS, hitting like a wimp because only 1 healer. Rathalos would be a joke if not for his broken hitboxs and server latency.

It's going to be a long time before I get the mount unless I'm really lucky and it drops, but I like that. If an event is going to be permanent, then I'm glad it actually has some replayability. I have a lot of thoughts as to why the people who are complaining are complaining (short of things like: lag + hitbox + slow mobility probably make it not play out quite as smoothly as it could in translation, which I agree with), but in the end, it's the same as a new primal, with a few different, interesting mechanics.

I'm tired of events that take 36 minutes and are done, and once you get the hang of the event you're guaranteed the mount within 50 runs, which is a lot more forgiving than 99 - and you have a higher percentage of getting it if it drops than competing against 7 others.

i have more friends online to make one group but usually not enough to make 2 full groups so someone is always left out. I prefer 8 man content that i can do with my 5-7 friends and then just pick up a pug or two.
