Granted, maybe not the best choice of words. I did say "much less wanted" though, not "just a bit" less wanted![]()
Kind of depends on the which fight, unless you want to say all of savage together+ ult. Currently in UwU it is tied with ninja at 490 for most popular dps.Probably lol. I'm lowballing it to be safe since I don't have access to fflogs atm and fflogs doesn't keep total upload data past two weeks. Softballing it I'd say it goes:
Bard>Dragoon>Ninja>Summoner>Monk>Red Mage>Samurai>Machinist>Black Mage. Feel free to correct though.
Lumping all savage parses of all floors past 2 weeks, your estimate was close though. Rdm is ahead of monk though, and surprisingly blm has surpassed mch. Looking at individual fights, it can shift slightly.
The difference between 4th most played and 5th is pretty large.

I generally talk over the whole tier of savage. Ultimate is a bit different, due to its low amount of clears, there isn't enough population to get a fair or accurate read of a job's general popularity like there is with savage.
That said...I can't say I'm all that surprised. As a RDM currently on TitUlt enrage, I certainly see a ton of areas where SMN's ability to cast while moving with minimal drop in potency while pet+dots smack the boss would be ridiculously helpful.
Hm...I admit, I was banking on Monk's popularity for the triple melee comp to edge it out over RDM for the whole tier, as trip melee is really popular for the first two fights afaik. I'm a bit afraid to ask what the dropoff is between 4th and 5th place though lol

If they get rid of Physick on SMN, hopefully they give SMN a second wind or damage reducing ability in return. Maybe siphon/drain HP from the pet. As it is now, SMN has the least amount of personal survival skills out of all the jobs in the game.
Fried popoto enthusiast.
I know that feel. Currently on titan as blm, and slide casting all the puddles and double landslide is pretty tight.I generally talk over the whole tier of savage. Geeze, I can only imagine how painful that is. At least for me once I get a slidecast off I have ~2 seconds to get into a safe place for my next cast. Right now my group is optimizing Titan Ultimate; one of the things we're considering is having all the ranged stand as far from Titan as possible; if you're far enough away from Titan, you won't get hit by either landslide without even needing to move because of the way landslides spread.
That's a bit off-topic for here, though. I'd love to compare strats and what we do on Discord or something! My tag is in my sig.
Dear OP,
Just a thought- an easy fix for your problem is pretty simple- you basically just unsubscribe![]()
Oh yes brilliant idea. While we are at it, lets do it the 1.x way and suggest everyone who has a complaint or suggestion to just unsub and quit the game.
Your joke, if it is one, is incredibly tasteless and uneducated. If you can, avoid using it.
Buffing Physick itself would be to add an additional effect or increase its potency. Buffing Physick itself would entail a buff to SCH, the complaint I was addressing, as clear from the sentences immediately following your snippet...
Buffing SMN's use of Physick does not buff Physick itself.
...
Reading comprehension when? Or is this just purposeful omission for comedic effect? Sigh.
You do realize if they did this they would have to drop your DPS a bit, is that something you would really want for summoner?Buffing Physick itself would be to add an additional effect or increase its potency.
