Drain was added in Stormblood for roles actions (which means you would than take it away from black mages, which is slightly useful to them for self survival), you'd have more of an argument for making it similar to drain and just giving it a name..

I love that they're giving us all 10 role actions at once so I can keep ignoring the 5 I never look at now.

Drain will never be useful to a Black Mage in its current iteration.
