    They are story quests surrounding the classes. So, I guess main scenario is stupid to you as well. Clearly you're not a person who is super into lore. Guess what? Others are.

    Also, we wern't even talking about what you brought up. You just injected it into the discussion as if we knew what you meant and what you were thinking without having to say it.

    Ok Vorn... What ability are you talking about.. there is not a single quest that gives you "AN ABILITY".
    Abilities from crafting are obtained by a) LEVELING and b) GUILD MARKS( or for Bayohnne Guild Tokens :P) not ever do you obtain an ability as a reward from a quest... the level 20,30,36 quests just UNLOCK the ability to PURCHASE the ABILITY with GUILD MARKS...

    You are confusing yourself way to much...

    Also you will still be required to do a quest but this time.. I can see the quest actually supplying the ability.. OR say if the ability is learned at 40.. it could have a pre-req of completing the r36 quest before even learning it..

    The quests for each craft still reward gil. The main quests reward gil. They can keep everything the same, just remove the marks as a rewards, and everything is in order. I do not see any cause for reworking the craft quests.

    To be honest, I did the guild quests for enjoyment. Many of them are actually very fun to do.

    Yea, I don't need much of a reward other than the enjoyment of doing a quest related to a craft I've put a lot of time and effort into. I wish they'd give us some more specific DoH and DoL quests.

    Ok, soooo, lemme get this straight...

    DotH and DotL abilities are going to be learned strictly through leveling... ok...

    We're going to get "refunds" for all the DotH and DothL abilities we've purchased with Guild Marks...

    ...But the future of using Guild Marks themselves is still up in the air...

    So instead of being able to use moves like Hands of the Gods on my Armorer, my highest and main DotH class, by only having to get Alchemist to 36, doing all 3 of the guild quests, and then paying my 12K Guild Marks for the ability (like I originally planned to do), does that mean I'll have to level Alchemy all the way up to 50 now to use Hands of the Gods on my Armorer? Getting a single DotH to 50 (which I still have yet to do) takes forever as it is, and right now, Alchemist isn't very viable, cept for making shards and crystals for other things...

    I'm glad that they're getting rid of the Eluder moves though, those things were useless.

    There is a strong possibility for that. Of course, none of us can really say for certain, but a safe and logical assumption says so.

    This back and forth is pointless. Either way there is nothing anyone can do about it. If past history is correct even the patch notes will not clarify the matter. They will just be a reprint of what we have alreadt read. The only time we will know for sure is whent the patch goes live. We will just have to wait for another 5 days to find out. Patience.
