Funny, I'm thinking the same thing......

All rank 50 abilities are obtained through a quest, we already know this. This only leaves 3 options......

1) the quest stays lvl 36

2) the quest is remodeled to a higher level

3) a new quest is rank 50 to learn it

So for them to prevent you from using it, they would have to

1) make it required rank.

2) do another quest

Unless they redo the quest it's got from...... We all still have it from the lvl 36 one

No, it just hasn't clicked with him how any of it works.

It was obtained through guildmarks abilities NPC, u didn't get it from the quests, it was just the prereqs to be able to purchase the skills.

what he is saying is that, yes, they were bought through guild marks and the quest was a prereq, but since you will no longer be able to buy the ability they didn't know if you would lose them or not if they are obtained after the r36 quest like it is now or have to wait until they get to r50.

Ah i get it now, so i might not have 'Hand of the Gods' anymore if they are only available as ALC50 since my ALC is only lv37, got'cha

So if it's through a quest, they would have to undo the quest you already did, and/or make new ones for every job. The later seems highly unlikely with all the other stuff they are focusing on.

And my original comment was, I don't think they will erase your achievement quest

They really should leave the GMs alone for DoL and DoH til they actually reform them for those classes. Unlike the battle classes the abilities you can buy from the GM are quite useful so if they decide to make it level based it'll really screw over people that got said class quest done to gain access to them. Unless of course they make said ability gained at 37 in which there wouldn't be a problem lol.
