Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]

PF people asks no double classes even in places the LB fill speed is irrelevant. A full run can start from 79/79 with no worries. But you know, pugs are pugs and you see asked 99/99 because the party leader can.

There's no substitute for experience, so the next best thing you can go for is a high gear level and hope that makes up for it.

They'll nerf it to cost 3 to 5 grips later I'm sure.

Is the POTD grips needed for the weapon 10 as well? Also who knows if they introduce another weapon tier in to HoH like Padjali and Kinna weapons.

The HoH weapons are kind of pointless unless you want one for glam, there are other weapon routes that are faster.
i360 HoH aether accessories for 40 or so pool would probably have been a better, or more interesting maybe, choice.

I haven't even humored the thought of doing HoH for weapons.

Pagos is like... what? Couple weeks away now? When that hits I can just have all my weapons fully upgraded to what will (probably) be i365 while getting caught up on Hero Aca or playing Splatoon in like an afternoon.

So far, Tsukuyomi requires you being good at it + RNG god's favor to win it (or farm 10 kills), while eureka gives you anemos but i355 and you need quite a farm before get the required level to farm what you need to get them, while HoH…

HoH is just half day of spamming 21-30 to get the requested 10 grips. What's faster than half day for a i365 weapon ?

You're kind of gambling it stays the same. Keep in mind that the weapons were easy mostly because the actual challenge was upgrading the armor; its about 1/3rd wep and 2/3rd armor if you were upgrading there. Now imagine weapon taking three times as long instead because there is no armor this tier, or just because SE increased elemental exp per level this time around. Or counteracted the fate train.

Tsuku is quicker than half a day if you've got a good group, or get lucky.

Eureka might be a grind to get to Paz but once you're there it pretty much throws i355 weapons at you, plus the next step is out in like 2 weeks or so.

It's just not worth the boring grind IMHO (8-9 hours of 21-30 over and over...) to get a HoH weapon, especially when it's so close to being obsolete already.
