Right but with where it's at in the patch cycle it doesn't make any sense. Most people have their tome weapon already or a EX weapon so the cost, imo, is a bit steep considering all of that. That's why I think they are too high

These weapons are good for alt classes, or those that don't quite yet have the extreme, savage, ultimate, or tomestone weapons. Afaik the weapons from PotD, were no different. Not to mention people levelling in heaven on high, or doing heaven on high alongside their MSQ, can immediately get a 365 weapon upon hitting 70 in some cases.
Besides, I hardly see an issue given getting aetherpool is much easier in Heaven on High than it was for PotD.
Considering how fast you can get up to 99/99 compared to potd it's not bad at all.

That's my stance as well. It took me two days of mostly being lazy to get my first weapon and it'll probably only take a handful of runs to get my aetherpool back in order. Silver chests are extremely abundant, as are Fortune Pomanders compared to PoTD. I've had at least two runs where we had fortune activated on every floor because RNG kept on feeding them to us, which bumped my aetherpool by an immense margin.
Silver chests seem far more abundant than they did in Potd, and they've done a great job by making magicite come from them, so even aether capped people will be wanting to hunt them out instead of skipping them like they did in Palace xp speed runs. Yeah it costs 10 more, but you aren't gimping yourself anymore by dumping up to 60 at one time.

Since I didn't see anyone else mention it...
Every boss after (and including) the floor 30 boss give guaranteed upgrades. I've only seen +1/+1 so far, so not sure if the upgrades can flare on bosses.
At any rate...
One you start making runs for floor 100, just buy a grip every time you get to 99/99. This will drop you to 89/89, which isn't going to make that much of an impact, especially if you are starting at floor 21. Between floors 21-90 you will fight 7 bosses that are guaranteed to give at least a +1/+1 upgrade... so you are guaranteed to be at least 96/96 when you start floor 91 from boss upgrades alone.
Also also...
Spoilers...
There is a "secret" mount that you can get after clearing HoH floor 100 a minimum of four times... so if you are going for that there is plenty of time to get grips.

I went from +1 to +98 in one day. granted that's having a full day free and not taking much breaks, but it's possible to get a new weapon every day. can't directly compare numbers to potd because aetherpool builds so much faster in HoH. the rate of chest upgrades succeeding is very high, and you can start new files on floor 21-30 with a guaranteed +1 /+1 from the boss and a potsherd.

Those weapons are i365 with 2 meld slots. I see nothing wrong to require you to spam just a couple days the dungeon to get a weapon on same level of Tsukuyomi's ones.

Palace of the Dead had a pretty severe reduction in silver chests succeeding if your aetherpool was high for the floor. That means that to get to 90 there you had to open a lot more of silver chests than you do in Heaven on High to get 100. And not only that, but you had to fight the higher level floors more often, which were more difficult (especially random parties were more likely to screw em up and waste the run) and time consuming (since higher floors took way more time than lower floors).
Here you can keep your stats at a relatively average level to get maximum success rate, all the while progressing towards the weapon on the fast, early floors.
In other words, comparing the current 100 to Palace of the Dead 90 simply shows that you didn't consider anything at all besides the raw number...which is like comparing leveling speed of, say 30-40 with 50-60. That's only ten levels, right?! So why is 50-60 taking more time...

i dont think they are even worth it tbh
just keep your aether levels and wait for eureka
