Basically what I am saying is, if you dont like how Oliver, boliver, kittynomates, whatever, and any other players "Exploited" the system, *When in reality they were just grandfathered in* then instead of screamin about it on here, take action, and organize on reddit, or some forum, or create a temporary linkshell ingame called "Homeless People Unite" or whatever, and setup exact times to report these players who are being "Unfair" to have a mass amount of players, in said LS to report the player at this or that time, and repeat it every couple hours.

GMs will see it, they will then go into Panic mode, and the Lead GM will make a decision asking himself "What will be best for the community?" "Should we make an example of this player and forcibly take all but one house from him?" "Tell him he has 1 week to decide which personal and FC house he wishes to keep among it all?" "Upset hundreds of players and ignore it? The player did nothing wrong?" etc, etc.

So either do that, or ignore me, or make some excuse going along the lines of "Blah blah it wont work blah blah" "You think we havent tried it before?" *Yes, you have not tried it before* "Id rather just complain about it, organizing stuff is too hard" or "SE should handle it and do the right thing, its their game" and whatever else.

I suggest taking action, and doing what I advise, because it has worked in the past, in SE mmos, and other mmos, and I seen it happen. Since Everquest, if the community makes a big enough outcry and send alot of petitions, emails, ingame GM requests, and do it in a coordinated fashion, things get changed.

But knowing this forum, most of you will just go "Meh" then do /shrug, then do /doze, then do /ponder, then do "Meh" then go "Waste of time, nothing will happen, lets continue screaming about it on the forums so I can feel better"

May want to change your post abit. Encouraging people to spam report in mass will get you in trouble here for the post and the people reporting in trouble for spamming the report system. Putting a few hours between reports does not make it ok for one player to send multiple reports about another player.

About cursing: You do know that people have been banned from the forums and even got punishment ingame if someone reported them even if they meant the cursing as fun? GM will do something when someone reports the person.

I pick this because unlike cursing (we have a filter) which is still punished if told, parser and cosmedic mods, buying x amount of houses hurts players because its a limited resource. Also yes its not our job and we cant enforce it..but bringing this to the attention of SE can be done. Alot of those that have big amount of houses also often brought the attention to themselves, either by behaving badly ingame, by forum posting or by giving interviews. They then should accept if they get negative feedback about this.

If you know I am also someone that is against selling content for real money, using exploids in content and I want SE to have a clear stand with their ToS (dont punish people for talking about numbers thanks to parser but turn a blind eye on streamers with it). I am going after the housing aspect because its the topic. Its that simple. If there is another topic (which did happen in the past) that is against the ToS and even hurt players, I am posting my opinion too.

Everyone has their own line where its crossed. For some its already cursing, for others its housing, for another person its bug exploiding and someone hates them all. And all of them are in their right if its against the ToS. If you are in the end fine that someone has over 16 houses in a game that has limited amounts of them, then thats fine. Others dont need to accept it and can post their opinion about it.
My concern is if SE was as hard as you want them to be when it came to the ToS the game would become barren. I was suspended for nine days nercoing one thread, I do not want the in-game moderators to police the game like they do the forums. I would lose a lot of good friends. I did not know players got punished for cursing in game, I curse like a sailor and have never been punished so I went based off my experience. What I am trying to say is if we open the flood gates to a system were SE goes full force with enforcing the ToS many players would be punished for things they have been doing that went years without being punished.

What do we do about those players that were grandfathered in? If you have an issue with players that have 16 plots, you will hate my GM since he does have 16 plots and was a carry over from the old system. A rule break is a rule break I do not think people understand the impact it would have on the community if SE listened to the outcries for those asking for stricter enforcement of the rules. That is something that needs to be done from the start not years later. You call it babying, I call it people trying to get SE to punish players for their lack of foresight. The reality is the players that own more then two plots is a symptom of a choice SE made. Their inaction of not going with a one house per account rule from the start and seeking a viable long term housing solution is what hurts the players. People are looking at the wrong people to blame. Sure it is greedy, but it is also smart and cleaver workaround the rule set provided.

I would like a lot of things changed with the housing system, for example a large plot should cost upwards of hundreds of millions, I should not have been able to buy one for 17 mil. Asking for changes is one thing, asking for people to be punished for things that SE was aware of and did nothing about or simply ignored is where my true concern is. Hope I am making sense.

Gotta vent somewhere about the game. Do you have Yoshi-Pee's cell number? Give us that, then the players can complain to him instead of the forums.

My post is fine the way it is. I gave a very obvious solution that players will not utilize anyway due to laziness. Already did my part when I shouldn't have to. Figured, id just give the suggestion based on my 17+ years of mmo experience.

And it is not one player, but many players. In a coordinated effort. Por favor, read what I said again.

Trolling and telling the truth are two different things. But I kinda doubt you'd know that. Yet you cry ignorance and trolling. My dude, you've lost the plot. *shrugs*

I do read your encouraging people to mass spam report others. There are better ways to handle this and get SE's attention that does not include having people flood the report system..

Oh really? Then go do it. Whats stopping you, or everyone else complaining? Why has it not been done yet? Or, has it been done, but no results? If that is so, then is it really the better result?

You are making excuses like I stated, people would do, and stating of "Better, other ways" without saying what they are, because in truth, you simply do not know of any other way that would actually work.

MMOs are a business. If a massive amount of players all make a large enough outcry to get critical attention, it will be responded to and dealt with in the best way they believe will preserve profits. In this case, if enough players stated how unfair the situation is to the point it makes them feel like their subscriptions isnt valued thus will cancel subs *specially since if they had a house, they would keep a sub up more to be able to keep the house* then it will cause, massive attention.

Logic, use it. While you are at it, factor in the one base sin 99 percent of humans all have, Greed.

Not entirely certain what the message behind the name of the plot meant; but it was pretty obviously an alt with the intention to flip. That was two weeks ago and to this very day, the house has not been decorated. The same plot was later spotted on reddit for sale apart of an outrageous bundle deal requesting for 10 times the amount it was by default price just for relocation value. Yeah, it was a bit upsetting to see.
We have posted proof on 1. How cat person exploited the system, they explained how, even advised people to buy FC house not personal so they can resell it, and as this quote points out, shows cat was having a negative impact to the community. The player base should not be begging moderators and GMs to uphold their own ToS, they should uphold it based on the reports they get. We clearly see that not being done, especially in light of someone bragging what they did to exploit the system, leaves me confused.

I disagree with the idea of letting people break the rules just because a lot of players do, it magically makes it ok

2.1 is part of the ToS is there for a reason. I disagree people need to be that babied they can't see what is right and wrong. SE ingoring the NA playerbase is a different issue, and was a problem since ARR, you can't use that as a defense to break the rules. Also remember cat in this thread TOLD poeple to buy FC house so you can resell it since you can't do that to personal since they need to buy the land again, while yoshi-P said DO NOT RESELL PLOTS! There is NO EXCUSE to that rule breaking.

So not only can you not reply properly when given the chance, you cannot read either. Amazing. The goal isn't necessarily to resell, it's to make money with the workshop and the wheel stand. Both of these are not accessible for personal houses. Not losing any money on the purchase of the plot its just the cherry on top.

Here, I'll post it a few times to let you understand it.
