You said "Lol", which obviously means "Laugh out loud" ... Ergo, you were laughing. Was I wrong to assume that you somehow weren't laughing, or at the very least found the situation mildly humorous. So I'd appreciate it kindly if you weren't disingenuous. Be consistent.

Also the fact that you decided to go the childish route and say I'm "butthurt" further illustrates my point.

Make your own private/FC irl gathering if they are that important. Much easier with travel planning, money, hotel bookings, emotional bonds. The best part you dont need go buy a ticket ! What bunch of shitty excuses again.

I'm sorry you feel that the reasons I offered weren't to your liking. That doesn't invalidate the way people feel, just because you don't like it. Sorry. ... Also, the bit about not needing to go buy a ticket is kind of a moot point, as the ticket (while arguably the most important aspect) is likely the least-expensive item ($150) required to host a gathering with friends when you weigh it against expenses like Travel and Lodging (Airplane / Train / Car / Gas / Hotel) and the like.

I hope you had fun on every fanfest you have been too and too bad you didnt get a ticket. But there will be people in your place at the fanfest and having fun. You guys didnt get a ticket, deal with it and better luck next time.

I did and I thank you for that, truly, but you completely sidestepped what I said (I'll assume that wasn't your intention), and what people actually want at this point. So I'll state it again for emphasis.

People want a formal response. If people can't go, that's fine. But at the very least, tell them WHY.

If there's any resolution to this entire situation to be had, it would be from that, I'd wager.

At least give them a sense of closure, that's all.
