Selling Ultimate Weapon Ultima Is Apparently Not Against the ToS

I wonder if people defending this abhorrent behaviour would change their tune if instead of a certain set of players selling clears, items, pvp rankings, etc for hundreds/thousands of dollars it was SE themselves just putting everything on the cashshop. Regardless of whether it's SE selling it or SE essentially condoning it by allowing it to happen without repercussions it creates a poor image of the game just like the rampant botting and hacking.

You don't need to respond those type of comments. It was already proven that some groups do it. The only questions that should be asked are how many customers do they get and why does SE continue to allow open RMT?

Maybe they link their discord and keep the PF locked so multiple buyers don't join simultaneously. Maybe the sellers have discord on their phone and are away from their computers during their ad runs. Disprove this using in-game chat logs.

Why stop there? If a seller said in chat logs they were selling for money, they probably meant for gil. If they said 'real money' or included a paypal address, they were only joking. The GMs wouldn't know if a payment was sent to any paypal account.

That's what I was thinking, again I'm not saying what these people do or don't do. But a poster was suggesting anyone doing this should be banned when at face value it doesn't say they are selling runs for irl money in any way.

People have multiple characters they could be advertising and have characters all over and wants gil on those chars too.

I do not see many defending the action or SE I simply see players that have been here long enough to known SE is not going to do anything. This subject has been brought up a lot and things like item requests at the very least have a history of action being taken. This topic not so much, I do not think SE has even once acknowledged the concern.

True. I'm sure those RMT clear sellers could actually post in general chat that they are selling runs, link their discord, and avoid any sort of punishment. I will say though, the GMs responded to my reports quite quickly however, so there is some good.

As long as the items are still availbale to be earned ingame through proper, well designed content (which UWU seems to be, for example) and the cash-shop weapons having a slightly different name and no stats, I wouldnt mind. - if that answers your question.

To me playing intresting content is the motivation to actually raid, not earning some shinies. I never quite understood why people are so up in arms about this to be honest. It doesnt cheap my experience with the content one bit if someone else buys their way through it. Maybe I just dont care about bragging-rights enough...?

Wouldn't that kind of shop inform game design though? Usually the game encourages use such cash shops in some way? Would it really be just a little cringe?
