It has always been this way. I only know one Game that actually banns cheaters, RMT'ers or whatever ToS-violators you might find. For the Rest: Making people aware of Problems is making the Game or Devs look Bad. They rather wanna keep you silent than actually deal with those Problems.
Thats how a lot of Governments work too btw.

Lots of things are against terms of service. How strict do you want them to be? I say if it isn't affecting your gameplay, don't worry about it.
3.5 Naming Right. You may not use any name or other intellectual property belonging to Square Enix or any other third party in your use of the Game (for example, naming a character after a celebrity, company, product, or superhero).
3.5 doesn't support your claim anyways.Lots of things are against terms of service. How strict do you want them to be? I say if it isn't affecting your gameplay, don't worry about it.

That’s about what players can or can’t name their characters in the game (which is probably not so much enforced as there so Square-Enix can say “we said they weren’t allowed to do that” if the copyright owners complain).
The issue here is that you’re not supposed to post game screenshots on the forums that show other players’ names, regardless of what the name is, especially if it could be used for harassment or if you are accusing them of doing something wrong - however undeniable you think it is.

3.5 is only refer to using SE's products names like Cloud Strife, Squall Leonheart etc etc, I think. But there's another rule refer to name and shame on the forum, dunno which one that is.
I am not following, I am not talking about the name in your original post.i was talking about a posters ign. And it is valid according to you, because as you said, rules are rules. Looks like you are the one picking and choosing the the rules you like.
That's not stated in the terms of service nor is it stated in the forum's privacy policy.
