If this is true then I wonder why the hell they brought in greed only. SE are just creating extra work for themselves by introducing greed only and have GMs take loot away from those who said they would pass. Keeping need rolls would almost entirely eliminate this extra work.

Well, if its causing people to send support tickets in over it, this will get them to change it back. This was the reason they flipped on not letting you take items out of the glamour dresser. They were getting support tickets from players who accidentally put the wrong items in there. They don't want to hire more GMs to deal with the increase number support tickets, so they usually rather fix the problem in game especially if the fix is easy.

Oh I don't disagree that sending support tickets would make them more likely to reconsider the loot change. I'm just puzzled why they allow GMs to help players in such a way that goes against the change in the first place.
