Was afk for a bit...to recap, see my post where I list the definitions of all the defense increasing abilities GLD CURRENTLY has. GLD Abl 1 does NOT read the same as Sentinel. The main part is that GLD Abl 1 increases enm, Sentinel NEVER said that, never never never.

Also, Sentinel is waaaay to powerful, honestly I think a 60% damage reduction is too much it should be 25% cap (then you can have your hard content)

Also since when did hard = leveling up all jobs? IF the devs designed this battle with Sentinel in mind as a required ability, they only did it because of the LACK OF CONTENT in the game to be able to keep players playing, albeit through pointlessly leveling all their jobs to 35+. That's not hard, that is a time sink, and the point which the OP I am sure is trying to make.

I want hard as in requires everyone to work as a team. Sentinel just makes sure you yourself can take care of you yourself. Its more of this make sure you can solo while your in a party bull$#!%. I mean 19 of the 64 possibly ability points belong to a LNC (if you follow the "setup" for a LNC burn)...19! Less than a 1/3 of my abilities are my own...this is why I hate the Armoury system, its just like I predicted...we have 1 Class that can use a bunch of different weapons.

I'm gonna be so happy once 1.20 rolls out, and that disappears.
