I’m not coming into the conversation ignorant of things you mentioned, and I’m not new to the job. I’ve been playing ninja as a main job for over three years. My point is your math doesn’t add up. Simply adding up potencies lost and gained over the course of a raid shows this.

Additionally, to make sure of what I was saying, I looked up top ninja parses, and what I found is that for most uses of TCJ, they were doing exactly what I was saying, Fuma>Katon>Doton. The exceptions came, again as I said after your mention of the number of Doton ticks needed, in encounters or times in a fight with movement.

So sorry. But it not that I’m unwilling to learn, it’s that I believe still that you are wrong on this one.

You simply don't know anything yet you assume you do.
First of all it's not my math, it's some "top ninja" math as you like to refer to.

2nd, you're not even doing the math correctly as you don't even know the true potencies we're talking about, even worse you simply have no idea about it.
Missed AA, GCDs and stuff. The math was done taking everything into account and it is a fact that you should use TCJ to setup TA as much as possible.

Now that you bring top parses, we're gonna discuss the "as much as possible" part, missing a TCJ overall is a huge loss, it's the only reason that stops you from using it to TCJ to setup TA with every TCJ, you simply can't afford the delay which result in you doing a TCJ doton instead.

    To make things clear:
-In a situation where you can setup TA using TCJ, you should use your ninjutsu to cast a fuma/raiton then you'd start using TCJ suiton at around 14~sc remaining on TA's timing.
-Hardcasting suiton then doing a TCJ doton isnt worth at all, you lose many potency everywhere which lessen the actual gain you'd get from doing this, then there's the clipping making it even worse.
This is the optimal way of using TCJ, if you still think your math is right and the guide is wrong because idk you've been maining the class for 3 years or simply checked logs while you actually don't even understand what's done in these logs, then whatever man.

Now taking a look at what I could gather about how "well" you mained the job for 3 years, maybe you should take a few step back and think again about it because I can tell you you were never even close to be "good" at NIN.
This might sound rude but it is the most clear way of saying it.
