Yeah, no wonder why it's always the casual player complaining about not being able to get to endgame quickly...You've got it backwards. Considering that casual players take their time going through the content since they progress at a slower pace, I'd venture to say it's actually the casual players who value the journey more than hardcore players.
It's not casual players spending thousands of hours doing repetitive tasks collecting endgame trinkets. That's certainly the primary activity of hardcore players, however, and there really isn't much a journey to talk about there.
The story and quests are probably the most compelling things to a casual player in an MMO. I can't imagine why you would think differently. Why else would a casual player even play? They aren't the ones in a rush to get to the oppressive endgame grinds, that's for sure.

I'm a bishonen and I love video games. I also consider myself hardcore.

I'm at work right now, haha.
I just don't agree with the concept of a game that has a monthly fee attached but no incentives to make people play for longer than that month. Before people start spewing, yes I know 2.0 is on the way; it doesn't change the fact that this game has been out for a whole year and all the content released within that span; lasts maybe a month or two IF you take your time.

Sorry, what linked were honest and thought expression of a players opinion. Not "QQ threads" try again.these two threads alone should keep you busy until 2.0 trying to meet that 1:30 ratio, and that's just scratching the surface.
Just because someone has an opinion different than your's doesn't make it baseless whining. It's people like you who troll along and drag a thread down to that.
I know you're angry, bro. But it's ok. We'll hug it out and make it through this together!this forum is absolutely saturated with people who misconstrue and abuse an open official forum as an excuse to mindspew every inane thought they've ever had about the game, no matter how poorly construed, no matter how nonconstructive, as if by having an open forum SE is *obligated* to hang on their every word.
and just because they share your opinion and/or use the same avenues of expression doesn't mean it isn't baseless whining. tell me what's constructive about saying "you changed a class i play in a constantly changing world and in spite of us all voting for radical changes i don't like this particular change so give me an entirely free level 50 class for it due to my unfounded sense of entitlement"
seriously, take your time.
you can white knight these people all you want, call me a troll all you want, but you're just playing the deflect/project/shed the spotlight game that every other crying casual does when they're feeling the need to express their existential angst and don't know how.
i mean, look at all that substance in your reply vs. mine. i call you on your bluff, and this is all you've got?
sorry, but you're completely transparent "bro"
and for posterity's sake, here's an example of a constructive thread:
boom!
now compare that this guy right here. let me know when you see the difference.
wait, aren't you the guy that complained this game could be completed in a month? you've been playing more than a month. aren't you finished yet? strange definition of hardcore.

The fact that you think any casual player would be making this silly request, let alone that typical casual players think this way tells me you're very quick to hate and slow to think.and just because they share your opinion and/or use the same avenues of expression doesn't mean it isn't baseless whining. tell me what's constructive about saying "you changed a class i play in a constantly changing world and in spite of us all voting for radical changes i don't like this particular change so give me an entirely free level 50 class for it due to my unfounded sense of entitlement"

Seriously... take your time.
You're pining your frustrations on a group of people who don't even fit your concerns.

casual just wants everything handed to them. sure they might not have as much time as a hardcore player to work towards these things but dont cry and demand things to be easier so they can achieve the same goals as someone who puts in 10x more hours.
hardcore or casual everyone makes time to achieve personal goals they have in the game so if someone decides to put aside more hours than someone else they deserve more
