I am looking forward to using the APP, the pay features add the convenience of not having the be home to monitor and change pricing on the items I have on the MB. Plus who know might be able to catch some great deals on items now. Will also be super helpful during new patch rushes, and new expansion rushes. For me personally this is a welcomed feature and cannot wait to use it.

I can understand why some do not like the idea, but for someone that enjoys crafting and making gil this app is prefect and for me will be well worth the price. To me this is no different from paying for additional retainers. Not something that is needed, and one can still reach the gil cap without paying for extras but the extras simply make it easier. This pay for convenience in my eyes.

Only if you pay $5/month premium PLUS extra for the virtual currency though. $5/month only lets you revise 2 listings per day (as far as we can tell). lol.

JP generally tend to spend more money on entertainment NA/EU. Even if the game was released in NA/EU with bigger playerbase, most of the game income will come from JP. So it is natural that the company will be more focused on who is willing to paying more.

Yeah, I know that much but I just thought MAYBE they might be outraged at the microtransactions ON TOP OF the $5/month price tag. Guess that was too much to hope for from sad Japanese businessmen who have no time for anything else. :/
