And then made the gap in between the two really wide for whatever reason. @ "it'd look bad when we move"... most existing things do. Pretty much any dangly parts look like they've been starched and glued on. Buy any of the new republican pvp sets if you want to see the crunchyness in action :P

I was born intersexed. had the whole nine yards of surgery throughout my childhood to fix everything down there. That being said, I know what it's like with all the gender fluid, gender perspectives, etc. Lived as a boy until I was 10. Girl since then.

Now, yeah, some of you folks need to relax a bit. putting down EaMett was uncalled for. I understood what she meant. No need to "throw shade" as someone put it. She was in no way trying to offend or making fun of gender fluid folks.

I don't know. But I see it as a game. The developers really care about this game. I think the FFXIV's history is proof positive of that. I think telling the "Devs to grow up" will utterly do nothing to your case. And that comment in of itself, is disrespectful.

You need to approach it in a more respectful way. If they don't respond to your questions or desires in the timely manner you want then keep trying. Putting them down in a public forum isn't going to encourage them to answer your desires.

To those of you worried whether the artist of the caster armor is upset or not about the changes to her design, worry not, she's ecstatic that her design was chosen, though does note the changes.

Anyways, on topic.

We all have our own idea of sexy. We're fortunate that this game is pretty equally balanced when it comes to the sexy gear in my opinion. While I'm happy for male characters getting bunny suits, and I'll test it out on my character but can't see myself using it too much, it always made me sad that men didn't have a Chippendale style outfit to balance it out. Now that balance has been restored.

Do men have fewer options than women? Yes. Is it by a huge amount? No, I don't think it is.

I think what irks me the most, is when males do get a nice glamour. But, females can wear it too... Case in point, Thavnarian Set. Heck even the best man stuff. Females don't have to beg for unisex, it's like it's a given. Where as it seems somewhat sexist or at least bias that men have to continually ask for it.

It has nothing to do with sexy or not. The original flap is too small and probably would animate very poorly each time the person moved. The model's hips are too weird for that to work, for it to look like the drawing, the miqo would need to have virtually no groin, as where the loincloth is parted would be where it should be. Not everything is this grand conspiracy to deny you sexiness.

I don't think we're seeing the same concept art.

I don't know about you, but I'm currently freaked out by the nondescript blob of flesh existing where his junk should be. If they made that design work on the right, they'd either have to expose the dude's junk (because you can look at angles other than what exist on the art on the left), or include the underwear model on this gear. Because one is impossible and the other is silly, they very reasonably opted to have normal pants.

As for that gear design, I like the finished look, I don't know why there needs to be some unnecessary hole in the groin area...
The heels though... dear god SE stahp! Male characters should never have high heels, it just doesn't fit imo. Shorter heels, sure, but the foot should be more or less in line with the ground. Tbh the same should really be true for female characters. Who goes into battle in high heels?
