Ok I need to get this off my chest. For a while now I've felt that healer glamours have been neglected to what I call the "healer desu" motif. And my previous posts were met with various responses. However later on it became apparent that it wasn't just healers but all male characters that were being left in the dark.
What's troubling me the most about this is the actual responses from the devs and community reps. When asked about the male bunny outfits Yoshi P actually said the male devs were actually uncomfortable (I don't have a direct quote) with the male form so the delegated it to a group of women. I can't begin to tell you how problematic this is. Its unprofessional and blatantly admits that the devs have a bias against male character glamours. to the point that they relegate employees who they think 'can handle' the male form. and it was SO low priority that it took several years to accomplish a promised product.
And when this is brought up in the forums we're given responses like these.
This response tells us absolutely nothing. It only gives an empty promise that male gear will be released in the 'future' (an extremely broad term). Not only that but it fails to specify in what avenue the male gear will be released. Will it be craftable gear, dungeon, or cash shop? I have a feeling they're referring to cash shop items and if this is the case then it completely ignores the problem all together. Players shouldn't have to fork over a premium just to feel included in glamours.
All together I'm loosing faith in the communication between the players and staff. They've openly admitted to a dangerous bias that WILL cause conflicts of interest when it comes to what the fans want and devs staying in the comfort zone. It honestly feels like the Mercy nerfs in overwatch where blizzard simply ignored feed back and did what they wanted regardless of hundreds of posts. I don't want SE to become like this but their actions have made me loose faith.
