This app is the cumulative effort of everyone who paid for cash shop stuff as the prices got higher and higher. Theyre just tryna see how far they can go now...it was one thing at glamour but this is basically borderline pay to win.

lmao. Who knows, but giving that extra retainer and possibility of more features, it can open many doors for 3rd party.

You'll be able to hire another retainer with the app and can use the market board as well through the app.

It can hire moogles to do stuff for you and other functions will be at as well but there will be two Services free and premium.

I would pay for the app if it just had a more streamlined way of accessing your retainers.

Clicking on every retainer separately, waiting for them to load, having to make multiple clicks just to gather your gil, reset your prices, or post items is a hot mess. If the app allowed me to see all items being sold at once, allow me gather all my gil at once, and allowed me to post items for sale without having to open every retainer...

There is no need to sugar coat the app by tossing us extra "nuts" (which I have no doubt will be sold in packages in the Mog station soon after the app is successful), just fix the god awful UI.

They said it was too expensive to get more storage... then we went from 2 free retainer + 2 sub retainer, to 2 free + 6 sub.
Money can makes all happen!

Honestly so little of this apps features sound appealing enough to even use the free version much less ANOTHER hike to my sub. Between retainers and sub I pay around $25 a month and that's far more than I feel this game is worth already.

Not even sure if I will download it, with the info we have so far its a no. They missed out on tons of features that would have made this app a lot more useful. They just keep swinging so kudos for that but they should aim a little higher. They look like amateurs playing in the big leagues right now.

I kindda hope things like this go bust just to encourage them to do better. They are sailing on the FF name and so many fanboys defend poor design and implementation, which is why that's what we get. If you truly care about the franchise, you need to call the devs out when they do bad or get to greedy (both of those boxes are checked here) and congratulate them when they do good. That is how things survive and thrive.

To me, this would be like WoW locking the ability to train troops and send troops on missions behind a paywall in their Legion app, with the added insult of locking bigger backpacks behind the same wall.

Except you can still manage your retainers without the app, and you already have a 70 slot saddlebag to use. I've barely touched mine.
