"We agree with this one, we're working on a fix; we're evaluating this one, but for X reason, we are not acting at this time; we're seeing the need for a PTR, and we're evaluating the availability of resources to make this a reality."

I think had SE made that post - which commits them to very little - much of the anger would have evaporated over Eureka, and I certainly include myself in that category. The power of communication at work.
    Agree fully.

No, I read some of your posts, that is not the reason why they do not get comments. They do not get comments because you go on some weird tangent and ends up making little sense. In other words people do not reply to them because they do not know what to say to it, that is how bad it gets off the point at times. To put it simply, picture 2 people talking about why the sky is blue, you try relate it to why the grass is green then write an essay why the grass is green, makes people simply speechless and not sure what to say.

This is what I mean by entitled: I finally am able to have an avenue to express my thoughts an opinions in a space that is relevant to the topic and if I dont get a response/the response I'm looking for it gives me the right to claim no one is listening.

That's entitlement; the belief that one is inherently deserving of privileges or special treatment.

It's incredible going from needing to write a letter on paper and send it off to a company and never knowing if they even got it let alone read it or cared what I said to being able to have full on conversations with people all across the globe. We are in an age of instant gratification and short little sound bites of 128 chr's or less. My comment was tongue in cheek but it seems to have struck quite a nerve with people all assuming what i meant.

This just further illustrates the issue with trying to communicate in this way. hardly anyone listens to the 5 paragraph, well thought out, well worded comment but instead the two min troll gets all the reactions and feedback. I know, I have tried before to take the time to be articulate and thoughtful but then the post about "Why cant I suplex Phantomtrain?!?!" gets the biggest reaction (just a random example).

Sorry if I offended you guys, your offense about being offended so you offend the devs has offended me. 22 pages and weeks later the offense continues. I do feel your point was made quite clearly in your OP.
Na your not ofending anything, no harm speaking how you feel. I do think you are misguided maybe, seem a bit lost. Maybe you feel this way because you see others put our generation down so much you feel it is true? read this carefully:

It is rather cheap shot using the "Entitled" term when you can't come up with a rational argument. A little lesson, every generation has been labeled lazy, entitled, spoiled, take your pick by the older ones. The fact is it has nothing to do with the younger folks and reflects prejudices of the older generation. Many older folks show a real sense of entitlement and refuse to entertain the possibility that they aren't the greatest generation that ever lived. Most of these kids, at my age I've earned the right to call anyone I want a kid, work as hard as their older peers but unlike them still have the optimism and energy of youth many older people have lost. So my suggestion to you is to drop the generational insults and work harder on a counter argument as to why it isn't important for developers FF XIV to be involved with their customer base.
This is not the first time I heard something like this btw, it does speak truth. Even Adam ruins everything spoke out on this idea.
    Let me try to help:
the fact of having a right to something.
"full entitlement to fees and maintenance should be offered"
    synonyms: right, prerogative, claim; More
    permission, dispensation, privilege
    "their entitlement to benefits"

the amount to which a person has a right.
    "annual leave entitlement"
    synonyms: right, prerogative, claim; More
    permission, dispensation, privilege
    "their entitlement to benefits"
the belief that one is inherently deserving of privileges or special treatment.
One issue I think is people put negative attachments and feelings on this word that is not really there (see the parasite thread, basically complaining on people using the technical meaning of the word) For example, say I ordered food from somewhere, say.. I want a pizza. They give me spaghetti. I ordered pizza, paid for pizza, that is what I am entitled to. So if we are paying for a service, such as subing to a MMO, we expect a certain level of service, you are entitled to it, because you are paying for it.

After reviewing comments we received from users worldwide, we have decided to implement the following changes to Eureka lockboxes and their rewards in a hotfix scheduled for the end of March.
    - Eureka potions will be added as possible rewards.
    - The rate at which fireworks are awarded will be reduced.
    - Various gear, as well as the Wicked Winds Whisper and No Quarter orchestrion rolls will no longer be untradable and may be put up for sale.

Please be advised that the lockboxes obtained prior to this hotfix but opened afterwards will be affected by the above changes.

We would like to let you know that this situation has been forwarded to the dev. team, and that they are positively looking into the situation!

Good luck to all of you trying to climb the ladder in Season 7!

    Good games all!
they did not. Keep in mind we are also talking about how SE had no direct contact to people outside japan with the yoshi-p walk thing, we shouldn't be finding out stuff like that from other players.
