QUOTE=ko_;4636556]Feels like the GMs should be able to do something atleast, kindof a shame someone is ruining the experience of people in content cause they don't like it. It's one thing to voice your opinion, it's another to spam it in game where noone cares or needs it in shout chat. I hsven't seen such spammer but if it's that bad then yeah. the GM should've done something. No opinion is worth annoying 144 people in an instance.[/QUOTE]
Yeah I mean if they where outright spamming and being obnoxious that is a different issue, but hard to see if the OP is just being overboard or if it is a real issue. In an ideal world, GM's saying just blacklist the person would mean it is not a big deal and nothing they can do, did the TC fully explain why the GMs should of looked at it? there is a lot of missing information for us to draw a proper conclusion for us to offer something really meaningful.
So you manage to miss my point and trying to be snarky on my reading ability? makes sense.
Yes I read just fine.
If you are confused and need me to explain what I meant further, that was an option for you to do so, I found it unnecessary and thought it was clear enough.
+1
With replies like that I have to question if the tc is really just overreacting or not.
I find the shout chat very entertaining in there. Almost all my instances have been fun except people calling Pazuzu... panini. Like wut?
This is the one of the myriad downsides of developing Eureka as a cross-server instance. Others include not being able to send /tells, not being able to easily form lasting teams with people you meet randomly inside it, not being able to queue for Duties while idly riding the NM train, and not being able to reliably join friends who are in Eureka without them needing to exit first.
I can understand why an instance was appealing, but for the love of Hydaelyn, SE needed to seriously stop and think about some of these downsides (and resolve some of them) before implementing instance content that so closely resembles open-world stuff.

I hope to get stuff like what you said and in general having more social options. WoW handles all this stuff well, it is shocking SE can't get anything near the functionality wow has.
(for others, I did add the OP's suggestion in the list, it is something I agree on, i just felt there was a bit over-reaction, but I was not there with no examples to see how bad it was or if it was based on over reaction "ban on sight is a bit far for me, if someone just trying to express a viewpoint)
I would just like to stop seeing Lalafel Shota-Porn when I'm in there. Please and thank you.
Everytime I'm in Eureka I use shout chat to express how much I hate teh content.
People keep telling me to quit playing Eureka, but my community keeps asking me to participate. I just can't keep my mouth shut. They really need to fix the 90% afk thing if they want to cut down on shout chat. Otherwise if you put 144 people in an instance where you're not doing anything for 90% of the time, yet you're trapped there to get crystals it only leads to a bunch of people being all pissy and moody and they just echo off each other.
I try my best not to enter eureka at all costs. I only go if the community drags me in. I try to be supportive of my server, but God do I hate Eureka.
I've /shouted my gripes in there before, but not enough for it to be considered spam. I see people praising it more than putting it down. Some of the praise is deserved while some of it isn't. It's one of those things that no matter what anyone says, some people will like it and some will not. What kills me though is how uninformed some people are, like someone I interacted with yesterday. This is paraphrasing, mind you:
Random:"This is just like XI!"
Me: "This is hardly XI...this is one big fate grind. That's it."
I played XI. XI was pretty dang hardcore some years ago, but I had a blast. Eureka is not. There are XI references abound though.
But that said, if we can send /tells and form groups in Eureka, we should have a blacklist option. I have come across my fair share of annoyances. Anything can happen when you put 144 random people in the same instance.

Well, at least it's better than FF11. I can afk and still get my full relic gear and weapon.
