    Besides, while popping low level FATEs, you're also dropping a decent amount of crystals, on top of what you gain from the FATEs, while I've never dropped any crystal when my party killed monsters that ware far higher than my level.

    As I said I'd pick removing exp penalties when group with a higher level player over level synch, we have enough restrictions already in the game

    Or you want to play with people who aren't your level, since killing any mob except a NM is worth nothing if there's a level disparity. As one of the slowest levellers amongst my friends, my options are to do the train with them, or play without them.

    Last one I was in stayed under 40 people for nearly an hour and it was a fresh instance. So, yeah... anecdotes. Certainly doesn't seem to be trending up.

    I would like to see these improvements:

    1. Make it MORE solo friendly, at least eventually. Eureka is basically relics. No one does it for ''fun''. Right now, every relic in the game can be soloable, so it is clear this will be old content soon so it needs to have a solo friendly appeal for players to get their anemos step, a.k.a. pazuzu. I don't think no one will be able to kill pazuzu solo for a long time if they won't nerf it drastically but maybe making pazuzu feathers exchangeable by crystals in the near future would fix the issue.

    2. NM fate grinding needs to go or be a small step on the next relic phase. We all know by now, all relics had a 1st step of fate grinding and eureka first step is no different. But if they go with this kind of approach for the next steps too, it would be extremely mind-numbing. It needs to change and improve for next phases.

    3. Mounts. Eureka mount and possibly in the future ''mounts'', are only obtainable by eureka and they are untradeable. So, make those who has mounts are immune to damage while riding them so we won't have to worry about getting 1-shot by lv25 mobs, and in the end makes exploring more fun and stress free. Also, it adds another sense of achievement within eureka.

    4. Lockboxes and crystal exchange. Make it so we can open them by 1, 10, 15, and 25. So those who has 5k lockboxes won't spend the whole 180 min opening them.

    5. Let us teleport to the aetherytes we unlocked, like in-game teleporting.

    6. A system similar to Khloe can be added which gives rewards, so it may make content not to rot in the future. (But please no more Alipoh sisters, i wouldn't mind doing chores for a sexy bro though)

    7. Eureka gear. After even melding like crazy, my ''recommended gear'' section says for some reason, sigma 350ilvl gear is better. It may be because of spiritbonding, idk, i can't think of something else. Even my stats on full eureka gear is better than 360ilvl mendacity gear but the game seems not to accept that. Make gear better than the average gear. And for next steps, gear needs to improve. If it stays the same as this, idk why someone would really bother. It needs to change in a way. Like relics.

    These are things i can think of right now.

    I was lucky to find 5 people with at most +/- 1 level from me, yes. Again, fingers crossed for a level sync soon.

    The thread is literally "first impressions". It takes very little time to form a first impression, especially when the weakest part of Eureka is right up front.

    The game doesn't tell you that partying is required, so you can't fault someone for venturing out without doing it.

    The whole thing here is a classic design problem SE has. They seem to want people to have to earn fun, when fun is what we're paying for. Content needs to be engaging immediately, rather than "oh after 10 hours of slog it might get interesting."

    It's their right to play content they like. If this isn't their cup of tea, so be it. The fact they said the next Eureka would have more solo-friendly options means they're hardly alone in feeling like this and SE has heard the complaints and will implement countermeasures - sadly for the next tier, not this one, though I suspect this will be one of the forms in which this will eventually be nerfed.

    And when you pay their sub, you'll get a say in it. As things stay now, people are entitled to decide when they've tried content enough to decide they don't like it.
