'Not saying that it's a good or bad reason, just that there's one.
You can still hop on a 2-person mount from someone in your party though (but monsters will still want to get you if your pilot goes near them).
The small area to make them reset makes that a joke though. As for the winds, that is an arbitrary barrier that doesn't need to exist as well. It is not hard to get a close friend or my SO to ride me to them anyway. Just annoying. SE even had to "nerf" those due to bad maps I believe.

After doing it today I have a list what I think needs to be changed or have a second look.

At entry, have a manual list, like near SB launch with the different instances for a bit.
Have better search functions so you can join your friends
Level sync once inside (just clone what FFxI did, no need to over complicate a basic feature.
"nerf" the general grind to make it to 20, they can increase the grind to actually get gear, they did things backwards here.
    Make solo more reasonable.
Abolish the time limit (why is this exist?) there is NO REASON I have to be kicked out when I am about to level while fighting a NM.
    Remove exp loss
On entry have something explaining the aggro to magic, low hp, etc. You can't just change to FFXI rules and expect everyone to know what is going on.
quest log- I was really confused when I first did a quest for the elemental orb thing. There was nothing to tell you that you had a quest active, hints where to go. I do not need a bleep on the map but because there was no evidence I even had a quest, I thought it was bugged and couldn't progress. Even ffxi had a quest complete and quest active name, no reason to make players feel it is bugged.
attunement and mounts at level 1. No it is not "OP" no it does not make "exploring" harder. All it is, is annoying and can cost missing fates.
Daily and weekly quests for exp and relic progression. It feels empty.
    Increase general exp gain.
encourage different ways of leveling, making me have carpal tunnel for normal monster farming, while waiting long periods for NMs is not something I find fun.

    Don't like it , don't play doesn't apply here.

Also, if FFXI holds your heart then why are you here?
yeah attaching relic to this kind of thing was a huge mistake.

you are just feeding his ego. I thought I explained how that he really did say that, a reply he outright ignored (though I predicted as much) but I thought I try anyway. He really did, just though implied actions. The reason he does not want to talk to me anymore because I fully explained what he was doing, and has no defense at that point since I refused to fall for his red herring.

I do not know if your objective is trying to start a flame war, like this was pointing out:

Or if you can't see what you are truly saying behind your words. I will assume this though. If you where a troll and a smart one at that, you would start to back off after seeing this. The reason is because now with people having this in their mind, you might wanna take a safe route and not have these thoughts to be pinned on you. Given this I am going to skip explaining what I think about all the reasons you may be trolling and go to the the idea you simply can't see outside your point of view.

See this first post I quoted from you has the line "So I guess that's why you also used the same "proof" when we were discussing about the MSQ roulette..." You should know by know I would reply to such things with the fallacy it is, or where you hoping I would fall in your trap, trying to defend myself in what I said about the MSQ? Did you have replies in your mind on what you might say after I said this? When I talk to people, especially a debate, I am thinking in my head possible replies I may get so I can form my replies to them. So here I am thinking about different possibilities what the person might say. The side effect of doing this is gaining the ability to try to see things from different view points. So I try to understand what people think, however even with all that, I only see 2 reasons for you to be posting such things. 1 is trying to stawman me, so I go off track, then defeat my ultimately by concluding I am not to be debated with, much like your support to one of Divinemights' posts. This also could of been a warning to you, showing I am willing to pick apart and explain in full details like I did with that post. So now you see how much information one can draw with a one line sentence of
"So I guess that's why you also used the same "proof" when we were discussing about the MSQ roulette..."
the point in explaining this goes back to this one warning already:

You really can't see your ultimate point here is to "silence" people that dislike it? Or maybe you have a personal vendetta against me? I usually keep such ideas from public posting, but more as mind game play mapping all possibility I see for your words and actions. At the end of the day when you try bring up an offtopic point (how I acted in MSQ roulette debates) is only there to attempt to silence me, and yet you try to state you do no such thing.

So I need to ask, do you simply do not see what you are truly saying behind your words? In the end "So I guess that's why you also used the same "proof" when we were discussing about the MSQ roulette" does not belong here. Maybe you just said this out of impulse, not thinking what you are truly saying. I advice to take your time and think what you are truly saying in the future, and try to see things outside your prospective. I reply fast at times because I do plan what someone may say based what I say, so it is possible this was out of impulse if you have no experience in doing such a thing.

TLDR version: Saying an off subject reply of "So I guess that's why you also used the same "proof" when we were discussing about the MSQ roulette." is in conflict with "Again, I have nothing against your dislikes...please, give me one quote where I tried to convince you that you should like Eureka. " I guess in a way I did point out that one quote you asked for, but overall it is how you are speaking in general and not limited to literally saying "I dislike your likes and you should stop speaking"
He basically gave you a loaded question, expecting you not to be able to answer it, but it did have an answer.

People can take it the wrong way and suddenly you have a lot of dislike against you even if the points themselves might be great. And it gives people fuel to use these posts to attack the other side while ignoring the content of the post itself. And others who might feel attacked that way too will jump in with them and agree and thus some simple words may just have created the start of another "war". I am not saying that you should not post or dont point out that someone is twisting your words (because that has happened in this very thread) but putting certain words in a post will not make it look better and just make sure that the war will go on. But thats just my opinion on this. In no way I am greater or stuff like that, I had my fair share of aggressive posts too (especially when you talk about something you are passionate about be it in a negative or positive way) and maybe some were a bit too harsh but I am quite sure that nobody will find any direct insults in them.

So but enough of this off topic and time to go to bed. @_@
To make sure I understood this right, you are basically saying I should not call people white knights (even if it is perfectly describing how they are acting) because that just gives them ammo to make me look bad "lul you are 'insulting' people by calling them 'white knights' in an attempt to convince others to ignore what I have to say since it is a 'fallacy' I see this is true, but it is definitely hard not to say anything when people are flat out doing that with all the word twisting.
