    Eureka is like if everything is on fire and you are constantly being chased by zombies, and you hope the guy in front of you trips and gets eaten so you can get to the NM without dying.

    They really need to fix the culling though. Randomly getting 1 shot and taking damage with no fly text or even a combat log entry is a bummer. This problem has been around for a long time.

    I don't mean ill or anything here, it's not your fault ultimatly if this content mostly sucks for a vast majority of people, but I'm hopping that you ALSO take a note off the REAL issue and you'll pass it out to the dev team. Lockboxes sucks as much as the PotD's bags do and at the end they don't give any shit to trade for crystals like the diadem stuffs did so... changes or not it's more of a crappy bonus more than any real help to eventually get a outdated relic a the end.

    That's not a bad thing xD I wish all of Eorzea was this dangerous and interesting. Eureka itself is great, brings the community together. The problem is the things and lack of variety there, there are no events outside of NMs, not many different and FUN ways to get exp and crystals, and no randomness to the enemies, why isn't there a 50% chance that a morbol will splash bad breath on everyone? Why can't skeletons all of a sudden summon a horde of skeletons? Why are we forced into a LOOP of pulling the same enemies waiting for them to respawn instead of like making them dynamic and get weather bonuses, "survival" bonuses (like if this type of monster hasn't been killed in a while they give bonus crystals and exp).

    Or let's say that all the dynamic stuff couldn't be done because our servers can't handle it

    Why not then just make Eureka a no-party area where enemies fight like they do now but give a lot more exp and crystals? At least regular grinding will feel fun because killing 10 enemy alone will feel like we're making progress. I wouldn't mind this, it would be like when I do Hunt bills which is a lot of fun for me. Or even just add hunt bills, would make the monotonous loop of fighting the same monsters 1 hour have some kind of purpose. Or have Krile give us orders every 30 minutes

    Kryle: Leshys are becoming too strong! We need to you to kill 30 of them! (And a Leshy boss at the end of that 30 chain)
    We need the devs to not just use "safe" content that worked in other mmos and start adding creativity to them.

    You're being very disingenuous. There, better? Myself and others have made the complaint that they weren't communicating on the core issues. Instead they only address a very minor complaint and give no indication they are even acknowledging what the vast majority of people are upset over. There is a severe lack of proper communication going on, and people are rightfully upset.

    Maybe it's because of my background in FFXI, but I don't really see why so many folks are up in arms about Eureka. It's comfortable, familiar territory to me: Exp camps where players kill regular mobs for hours for exp, quests and NMs that require sneaking past monsters that will cut you down in an instant if you don't handle them carefully, quests that encourage exploration and/or player communication to solve, rewards with pitifully low drop rates... Man, this place hits me strong with the nostalgia!

    I'd say it wouldn't be out of the question to include some form of sneak/invis, but all in all it's not that bad. I don't really have any complaints.

I for the first time experienced Diadem pretty late on its implementation time & by the time I finally got strong enough to start enjoying the fighting content in there (while it was mostly a desert at the time...) Diadem got closed just to make it even worst a month later.

    In the end, I have tried solo lvling up & I did hit chain 30 duo while full groups couldn't even handle it,while I also made a pf with full group, we would lose player before even starting on xping because of the nm train tendency, while I did my best to keep our group sane, ppl run off & die & get others killed while requiring raises, & I dont mind the xp lost, but the fact that this is a run & dodge & die when you often do not reach nms in times & that this create a ridiculous amount of lag on every player that does not own a 2018 top notch computer is just... a fact. I see ppl that cant keep up with the content because of processor & graphic card all the time, not to mention internet speed...

    People complain about how much time they needed to release Eureka, and you want them to revisit basically everything... in three days?

    Talk about misrepresenting an argument. Where do you even see him say he's looking for a solution. All he's saying is that they didn't even acknowledge that there were any other problems.

    If this is just a starting point for what Eureka will become, that's fine. They've already shown that they're listening to our feedback by taking out some of the dumb clutter from the lockboxes. Making vast, sweeping changes to the area takes time -- although I sincerely wonder, for something that was a year and a half in development, why it has ALL the hallmarks of diadem that players loudly disliked. It's possible that they also developed other things to be released over time that will add to the Eureka world.
