Ermmahgawd. That's not what I asked. Why would you dupe anything? If you were given the choice of Samurai or Bard, which would you take? I'll answer for you. Bard. Because it Synergizes much better than Samurai. You do know Samurai is laughed at when it come to Parse parties, right? Lol

....Umm. You're a BARD. Not a job that is shunned from the community. Who are you going to take into a Parse Party? Samurai or Bard????? It's not hard to make them. But again, there's a myriad of parties competing for a handful of players that -cleared- the content.

In case it's not clear:

HyoMin brought up that bards are popular--in fact, too popular, they are often already taken in pf. So she has to make her own. You respond with "Well you're a bard, you're not shunned" and then asked a rhetorical "Who would you take for a parse run?"

To which I responded, since you never modified HyoMin's original hypothetical: "I'd take SAM, since we already have a BRD in this situation."

Here's a different answer: for a true max parse run? BRD MCH NIN DRG. SAM, MNK, RDM, BLM, and SMN are all left by the wayside. To maximize any of the non meta dps, you'd go full meta minus the job you're maximizing. That, however, includes a lot of feeding a stranger, something I doubt strangers want to do over pf and would rather do within statics.

EDIT: As of 3/9/18, 3:07PM MST, of the 26 parties up under High End on Aether, there is one that doesn't have a slot available for SAM that doesn't also have a SAM already in it.
