I'm from Balmung.

This patch was a step in the right direction. There is no perfect solution to an imperfect system foundation, so I'm not going to fault SE for not coming up with a miracle to resolve all housing problems. OP, even if they added 100 wards, people in Balmung would STILL complain because they'd either want 2more shirogane houses" or, "more mansions!" or, "CHEAPER MANSIONS PLS". You will NEVER be happy or satisfied.

I get that the housing situation in Balmung sucks, I really do, but let's give credit where it's due and admit that this patch has greatly improved the housing situation for most people.

there are still plenty of houses on my world; goblet is still empty for the most part but mist and beds have houses still open. it's a good thing to see.

Anytime I see someone from Balmung complaining about housing I can't help but laugh. Seriously. If you want a house so bad maybe transfer to another server. You obviously don't want a house enough if you're playing on the most populated server, but hey, that's just me. And if it's a matter of "oh my friends play on this server" well you can still party finder stuff?

This sums up our server, alot taken up by alts where the house is empty and undecorated.

Balmung may have the least number of characters created, but im confident its still the busiest server. It spent most of the last 2 years being unavailable due to congestion or locked as an over-populated world. As a result, the RMT bots and spammers who got banned were actually removed from that server rather then just making new toons over and over like they did(and still do) on most of the other servers.

Meanwhile, at this point houses are reaching their minimum valuations. Still over one hundred available on my server, including one or two mediums(goblet) last i checked. Successful patch on the housing front, but clearly not perfect.

I'm the first person to say that I don't believe Balmung deserves special treatment and that they should look elsewhere if they want housing, but this is unnecessary. This isn't about whether or not you like or dislike roleplay, and someone's opinion of roleplay or what other people choose to do with their characters should have nothing to do with the discussion about privileges and priorities across servers. If your sole argument is "wahhhh I think what you do is dumb", it's not contributing to the conversation.
