Anyone else receive a broken XIV Shiva figure ?

Now I'm nervous, I preordered this (and the new art book) since Christmas really left me feeling sour and something to make myself feel a bit better. I really hope they set this right by the community and at least offer a replacement to those who had their's look like an unsynced group came in for pony farms/wondrous tails delivered it.

I knew there would snapping issues but I figured it'd be more involved with the hair since most major japanese figure producers do a decent job with reinforcing and blister packing major body parts but SE always knows how to surpass your expectations.

I received an Email from Square Enix a couple of days ago, stating they could not deliver my Shiva figure due to some of them being broken. I could have waited until may for when the next delivery was scheduled, but instead I canceled my order, because I was sad =/.

Sorry I was incorrect apparently it was a private email sent out to users who ordered the statue. Either way I can't find the link, im so sorry. I believe I saw it on Reddit or on the OF somewhere. The problem is where.

If I do find it I will edit this post to link it, or im sure some kind soul will link it below me.

not shiva, thankfully this was just a baby behemoth plushie, but it seems like every box from the SE store arrives at my house like this. glad my music cd's haven't arrived broken yet.

I believe the problem is whichever shipping company SE uses. Clearly that company has some employees that don't care and will more than likely throw a box into the back of the truck rather than playing close attention to the fragility of it. As a person who works for a shipping company, you always want to handle your customers packages with care otherwise they come back angry...and then you get fired for being sloppy.

My yellow carbuncle plushie arrived in a box you could fit basically a soda can inside. It was all squished/bent up and I had to stretch it back into shape... It was ok after I fixed it so I didn't complain but maybe I should have :|

Has Yoshi-P weighed in on this? A significant chunk of time with each new Live Letter is spent advertising new merchandise, after all - but there's clearly teething issues when it comes to getting products to players.
