Geez that's absolutely awfulI hope they give you a replacement soon.
Now at least I know if I ever buy something from SE to do an unboxing video as proof.

When they had their black friday sale I ordered two single class pins, SAM and AST, to go with my WHM pin. I received one single AST pin... and one box of 50 SAM pins. I emailed them about the mixup, and granted they got back to me immediately with a shipping label to send them back, but that was also me returning merch to them, so of course they'd be quick about it. Unsure how they would have been if I hadn't gotten something and was complaining about it.

It must be a regional thing.
Mine came in yesterday completely fine. Even my box was pristine. I can't say I've ever gotten a damaged package from the SE store (we've ordered 3 CDs, both carbuncle plushies, Odin statue, both CE of HW and SB, the lorebook, 3 artbooks, deluxe edition of FFXV and now the statue of shiva).
I would highly suggest contacting your post office to see what the chain of distribution is (IE: that horribly bent up box says USPS - you need to contact them). They can offer you a refund, but it really sucks for limited quantity items like this. It only takes 1 person in shipping to ruin your item.
Or, if the email's contents are any clue, contact SE and tell them you received one of those damaged statues so you can be sent a replacement come May 2018.

I got a box just like that that was also ripped wide open on one end when I bought the $220 Yuna necklace back in october. I can only assume the necklace was only still in the box by some form of divine intervention. I honestly get better shipping packaging when ordering discount nail glitter from china on aliexpress.

Oh SE, adding more fuel to the fire with your service.

I CANT IMAGINE GETTING A BROKEN $130 PLASTIC FIGURINE I WOULD BE FURIOUSSSSSS

Damn, All that money spent and it comes broken. Lol
We are all made of star stuff
Reason for me not to even think about ordering from the SE Store directly, but from a Third Seller like Amazon.
That probably might solve on how strong and solid the Package is, yet... you hardly know where the Package gets handed to... DPD, UPS, DHL and others.
That Package in general looks horrible, it doesn't look solid at all
Like I hardly believe this is due of the Driver throwing that Package around ... though like it got stuck in the Conveyor Belt and was compressed like hell.
I mean ... it happens but some Drivers really put Heavy Packages on top of a light weighted Package in the end and this is also the result...
Still a No-Go, in my case I wouldn't have accepted it at all but then knowing that SE Store Merchandise is mostly limited, that's another Story.

I figured I'd go ahead and post since I am in the same boat.
The shipping box was fine, and her inner packaging was completely pristine. The right arm, however, decided to come off and you can see it floating in space to the left of her stump.
I don't think it is necessarily an issue with the delivery service so much as a manufacturing error. Mine doesn't look broken, per se, but it seems to have just disconnected at that elbow joint. Either way, I'm not super happy after having spent $165.00 with the assumption that she would be delivered in one piece.

Thankfully, mine came just fine, but the box did have damage. I feared the worst as soon as I saw it. Please add a bit more padding to these things, they are not cheap, not to mention that simply buying another one isn't an option even if money wasn't an issue
