Of course it isn't a SAM problem, but people want to blame the job anyway. The job is the means to the end for these particular social dilemmas between player groups.
Guildmaster of Power With Numbers (PWN) on Coeurl in Aether.
Any SAM dies of gimmick and dps lower than 1st place should be kicked, just saying.
But if getting kicked before the raid begin, its mostly because repeat job.
(MNK looked as the same job with SAM, and the former performs quite well in this patch, so you know, priority thing matter.)
I'm on your datacentre, I've PF'd with many SAMs and BLMs, never seen a kick due to their class.
Sure its your class and not you?
That's a bit of an elitist statement. You obviously haven't seen what a really good BLM has been able to put out lately. Not to mention that with the right setup, a DRG/NIN team can outright own a good chunk of the DPS. If you are the type that kicks for a SAM not being in first place, then wow...
If it's a PF, in a lot of cases, the PL should be excluding jobs before starting the PF, and adjusting it as players join to avoid the double job problems. I can understand with something like Byakko because of the current skills of a lot of players, it's currently not consistently possible to survive the second tiger without a tank LB. So yeah, I can agree with the double jobs not being allowed.
Is it just me, or have there been more Samurai players dying to mechanics than Dragoon players?
Maybe that's why they're getting kicked. #lolsam
Force players to stick to inferior comps? Good luck with that.

Yes, you are right, Samurai needs to be addressed. It's basically dead now. No clue why the Devs didn't plan on it earlier - but SE works in mysterious ways.
But two things:
a) Most of the ones who request meta (even clear groups, lel) are just reddit sheeps who don't know what they are talking about.
Only the top 95% of the playerbase knows how to make use of meta. This was many times discussed in the Balance Discord, and it is very true.
b) I main SAM still and didn't switch like the Hipsters to MNK, but I was able to clear o5s-o7s with pugs so far. It was hell, high purple and orange parses don't come easy with bad pugs, hence why I decided to recruit.
My advice: Just avoid the meta monkeys, avoid the salty idiots, make your own static and surround yourself with likeminded people.
After all, we are all here to have fun, but a lot seem to forget that. Just don't give a **** like me.
@KDSilver
My friend, MNK even got buffed with 4.2.; Samurai is in a worse spot now than it ever was. So a lot of this crying is justified, and it was exactly the same with MNK.
You are right though about the kicking - people block it beforehand.
Now that's just crazy talk.Yes, you are right, Samurai needs to be addressed. It's basically dead now. No clue why the Devs didn't plan on it earlier - but SE works in mysterious ways.

Amen to that.
I have never encountered this myself on my DC. However I dont think you can report anyone for kicking as SE say "Players different playstyle" isnt a valid reason for report or violation i should say.
