Developers, Please Address Samurai Kicking

Reporting players for kicking you will not get you anywhere. The PF leader has always had the right to decide what party layout and can choose to remove someone if they so please. Going back on that would just cause more problems than it would fix.

The real issue is the hive mind mentality that the raiding player base seem to have. The only place where you'll notice Samurai's personal DPS not pulling its weight is O7S, O8S, and ultimate. Outside of those three instances samurai should not be the make or break of the group. Once they buff samurai it should alleviate some of the tension, but it will eventually come back again with another class.

There's no reason your other subscribers should be given authority to tell people what they can and can't play as.

There is also no reason why you should be able to force other subscribers to play with you if they don't want to?

I am skeptical about your story...due to my experiences...

1. I am on your data center and I farmed the crap out of EX primals in PF for the dogs and I've never seen a SAM kicked or asked to switch jobs. Most of the time there were plenty SAMs in every group I was in.

2. In all those 5 kicks did they explicitly tell you they were kicking "because you are a SAM"? Because if they said nothing then it is possible they did not kick you for the reason you assume they did. Screenshots of the party chat would help with names blacked out.

3. I peruse PF almost daily and I see SAMs everywhere and I've never seen EX primal farms blocking out SAM...byakko may lock jobs out to avoid same stack jobs due to the tank LB3 strat, but locking due to not stacking 2 of the same job /=/ discrimination of said job...they just happen to already have one and don't want two.

4. If people seriously did kick you out of a EX primal farm just for being a SAM and no other reason they aren't people you would want to play with anyway so they did you a service.

This isnt just a SAM problem. I have encountered issued like this playing my BLM. I even got votekicked out of a EX Roulette as soon as everyone was loaded in :/

You can not initiate votekick before at least 5 minutes has passed in DF.
I suggest coming up with more believable story.

And why people would even kick a AOE heavy class in dungeon to begin with.

Vote kick cannot be used within the first 5 minutes of a dungeon. So... how exactly did you get vote kicked right after everyone loaded in? It's not even possible. 5 minutes must pass before any of them could initiate a vote kick.

I was remembering wrong, the other DPS and Tank DCed as we loaded, and we waited for them to return, and before the first trashpull, I was votekicked.

No reason at all. We ran up stairs, then votekick window popped up stating I am AFK/Offline and I pretty much was pretty stunned by it and just sat there, Did this really just happen, and I did report them to the GMs for abuse of Votekick feature.

That makes even less sense than the first lie .-.

This really reminds me of someone who went around claiming that 'Shadow Flare only tickles enemies' and 'Thunder is a waste of a spell and not needed in rotations' a few years ago without doing the math.

Also reminds me of rumours in high school, where it starts out with something small, and then becomes Purple Monkey Dishwasher

There was also this lovely time at the beginning of SB where people were calling SMN dead, and when they got substantial buffs people whined that it wasn't anywhere near enough. Then when someone updated the way we track damage, it turns out SMN had the highest personal DPS in the game. Whoops /shrug
