Developers, Please Address Samurai Kicking

I'm on your datacentre, I've PF'd with many SAMs and BLMs, never seen a kick due to their class.

Is it just me, or have there been more Samurai players dying to mechanics than Dragoon players?

Yes, you are right, Samurai needs to be addressed. It's basically dead now. No clue why the Devs didn't plan on it earlier - but SE works in mysterious ways.

But two things:

a) Most of the ones who request meta (even clear groups, lel) are just reddit sheeps who don't know what they are talking about.
Only the top 95% of the playerbase knows how to make use of meta. This was many times discussed in the Balance Discord, and it is very true.

b) I main SAM still and didn't switch like the Hipsters to MNK, but I was able to clear o5s-o7s with pugs so far. It was hell, high purple and orange parses don't come easy with bad pugs, hence why I decided to recruit.
My advice: Just avoid the meta monkeys, avoid the salty idiots, make your own static and surround yourself with likeminded people.

After all, we are all here to have fun, but a lot seem to forget that. Just don't give a **** like me.

I have never encountered this myself on my DC. However I dont think you can report anyone for kicking as SE say "Players different playstyle" isnt a valid reason for report or violation i should say.

"Difference in playstyles" actually is a valid reason to kick a player; this has been confirmed by GMs themselves. Unless you can prove with in-game chat logs that a kick was outright malicious, the GMs won't do anything about it.

PF role restrictions do not fall into any reportable offense. When a party leader creates their PF, they set the rules for what they want. If they want full META, they have the right to ask for it. If they want all-Roe non-META, same thing.

There's no reason your other subscribers should be given authority to tell people what they can and can't play as.

To be blunt, yes they can. This is something that's been a thing in every MMO ever. I've been subjected to it as well plenty of times. It sucks, but it is what is is, you can't force others to play with you if they don't want your particular class no matter how good you may be with it or how well your gear is. I'm sorry but as MMO players this is just one of the things we have to accept and get used to. As others have said the best way around it is by forming your own party and seeing who bites. There are as many out there who don't care about class makeup as much as there are those that do.

You still didn't answer Miste's post though, what was said in chat for those kicks? Are you assuming you were kicked for being a SAM or did they straight out point that out in chat?

The only times I've seen SAMs being kicked is when they refuse to use diversion.
