The old system is in place because god knows how many people would have lost their absolute minds if they just took that away and MADE people deal with the limitations and issues with the new system. Look at how people are reacting to just the presence of the new system.
Doing away with the armoire and it's item recoverability may be the last string to snip to give us further Dresser slots, the functionality to make things recoverable is very likely a reason they don't add new things to it's possible inventory often. Trimming off old systems to make new ones easier to implement is a good idea. I could be wrong, this could affect nothing. I'm not a dev.
I already did say actually useful items like the +% items would probably be moved to the salvager or other means if my fantasy situation became a reality.
You're well within cautious common sense not to put something you spent actual money on that is technically "irreplaceable" without spending more money in this new log since it would restrict its use.
I'm well aware of current limitations and don't expect anyone to use it if they're not comfortable with it.
The.. wow.. MANY posts I made were to ask one question: Would you approve if the system let you do EVERYTHING EXCEPT get the items back? If not.. WHY?
That's great! I'm all kinds of wrong about tons of things all the time.
But what's your answer? Would you be ok with a system like that? No items, but the visual elements are all available? And not "what everyone would think". YOU.. why would YOU have a problem with it?
