I haven't run it that often, but every time I've run it we've done the whole pull, and the group only wiped once (on the first time, since we didn't realise what was hitting that hard, after which we tried it a second time and cleared it). I don't think any of the groups have had "outstanding" DPS, but rather standard (have had strangers and/or first-timers as DDs on almost every run). It is demanding, sure, but like Bourne_Endeavor said above, it's also nice to have 1 pull that requires something from the group. Last time I did it I didn't have Hallowed and healer didn't have Bene and the group didn't have LB and we cleared it well, don't remember if we've used any of those on previous runs.

Especially in less serious content it really is "if I think I might be able to, I definitely should" for me.

Those kind of pulls and getting through them as healer or tank is pretty much the only thing that makes experts enjoyable for me. I feel like dying inside if people insist on single or double pulls when the party is perfectly capable of handling more. Of course if a tank or healer is completely new and super nervous and needs a slower pace, that's fine for me. But after you're familiar with your job and the content, why not try to push yourself a bit further?

If the party is willing to go for it...then go for it....more power to im...but don't second guess people...that's my sticking point.

Which is why with most random groups..ill tank..and pull as i see fit <which is cautiously to make sure the party can handle it - and if i see they are doing good - i may just throw a monkey wrench in and pull even more - i may be holding back because A: I happen to have an issue with the next batch B: I'm not as confident in the party - my job is to keep the party alive - not satisfy peoples bloodlust> or DPS and just not give a bloody crap about it and deal with whatever foolishness they throw my way...cause that's just how it is. Don't expect any commendations however....ill likely give that to the guy who suffered/broke his/her back for the party.

Which 9 times out of 10...is the healer.....sorry but its true.

Again...don't have a problem with people pushing their limits...but randoms? Don't trust people that much.... Hell I call it a miracle when someone actually uses Esuna. ^_^
