Flat Cap is only a 4 star item that gets pushed to gold by the dye. Is there an actual Gold hat found yet? Best score I've been able to get is 86 so far.

Okay, here's my theory. After some basic color testing, dalamud red added to head/feet adds 3 points each to total, suggesting the perfect dye is a +3. Using calculations from last week, there are 6 unthemed slots worth 7 points each, for 42 points. 5 themed slots worth 8 points each for gold is another 40 points, totaling 82 points. Then there are 6 dyeable slots at +3 each, is 100. Easy way to test this if someone is able. These are the gold items, submit them undyed to see if 82 points:
Head: Tacklekeep Hat
Body: Survival Shirt
Legs: New World Hose
Earring: Behemoth
Necklace: Moogle EX
Then add the dyes I have confirmed add +3.
Head: Dalamud Red
Body:
Hand:
Leg: Cream Yellow
Feet: Dalamud Red
That should give you 91 points. I believe general purpose dark green are BiS for body and hand, but I didn't have enough alts/dye to test. But that should be another 6, for 97. Then all thats left is finding what to dye the Halcyon Lucis.

Someone on reddit confirmed this for 97 points. The only thing left is dying the fishing Lucis (the only dyeable rod?) to see what +3 is.Head: Tacklekeep Hat
Body: Survival Shirt
Legs: New World Hose
Earring: Behemoth
Necklace: Moogle EX
Then add the dyes I have confirmed add +3.
Head: Dalamud Red
Body:GP Dark green
Hand: GP Dark green
Leg: Cream Yellow
Feet: Dalamud Red

Kinda my bad for starting the thread. Maybe shoulda left it to someone that might keep the first post updated (but also hoped/suggested someone would make a proper new thread for exactly that).
I mean, if a good thread gets started and I edit my first post down, it might encourage this one to die, right? >_>
I used:
Flat cap dyed Dalamud red
Survival Shirt dyed Deepwood Green
Expeditioner's Gloves Dyed Deepwood Green
New World Hose dyed Honey Yellow & Metallic Yellow
Dinosaur Leather Shoes dyed Dalamud Red
Behemoth Earings
Moogle Ribbon of Aiming
Blessed Tacklekeeps Rod & Halcyon Rod Lucis Dyed Metallic Yellow
Both variations Gave me 93 points I had thought about Metallic Red or Dalamud Red for the Rod but thought it looked more appealing matching the pants. I may Gather up some scrips for the Tacklekeeps hat and see if that improves my score a bit.
weapon - goobbue grey
tacklekeep's cap - dalamud red
survival shirt - dark green
hands - dark green
new world pants - cream yellow
shoes - dalamud red
behemoth earring
moogle ex necklace
just the achievement, nothing else

Well, you just need to go to the last page for the current week one. I think we're all going to keep updating the thread anyway.
So far, from what I tested:
Gaganaskin Chaps of Aiming and Wrangler's Chaps get only 1 star. I was hoping it would be at least 4 cause it's old west style too...
Platinum scarf gets only 1 star too
The Bomb earrings gets 4 stars. It might be a good option
In my last try, I got 82 points, here's what I used (all cheap items)
Flad Cap - Dalamud Red
Linen Survival Shirt - undyeable
Dhalmelskin Halfgloves of Crafting - Dalamud Red
Expeditioner's Kecks - Cream Yellow
Expeditioner's Mocassins - Dalamud Red
Ramie Ribbon of Aiming
Bomb Earrings
and the rest is random acc just to get the extra points
Good luck!
