These are the only 'casual' looking hats I can think of that match the new world exploration theme. I'm on my last attempt for the week though so I'm going to wait and see a bit longer.

I'm a bit curious why the flat cap does so well though. Makes me wonder if it's some kind of pun and they put more thought into every single hinted slot than I thought. Like the moogle shoes last week that people thought was kind of odd in a high society theme, until you remember that moogles are literally a high society since they come from moghome.

The world being flat is quite a well known hoax at this point, but it used to be taken quite seriously in the past. People used to think that if you sailed too far out you would fall off the edge and die, so if you were sailing to the new world in the 15th century you would have been quite brave indeed *hint hint*.

Could possibly be the Expeditioner's Cap, Cashmere Hood or maybe even the Wind Silk Wedge Cap. Those are all fairly simple as well.

Maybe even one of the pairs of glasses...

The one small up side is that you can put the ilvl 1 items into the Glamour Toilet and just keep reusing them; it's the only thing I've found it useful for. You'll get to a point where you don't need to invest any gil.

Edit: Side note... I wonder if one of the versions of the Platinum Scarf would work instead of a Mog ribbon.

Survival shirt (undyed): gold
Kudzu Culottes of Gathering (sky blue): one star (though it looked similarish enough to the spendy pants)
Behemoth Earrings: gold
Landmaster Choker: one star (didn't have a mog ribbon and the others were for war/magic only)

So I'm not a high leveled crafter but I got this and got 80pts. So here was my list:

PS, I did try the Ramie Ribbon of Aiming and it gave me 4stars. But I needed this one with the other pieces to hit 80.

Theres got to be some pants that score better than a 1. Has anyone tried any Thavnairan bottoms or some of the Doman or Ala Mhigan ones? I assume those might be 'new world' too.

Also curious about the platinum scarves. Anyone test one yet?
