well in 5 days new live letter, cmon gentlement bettings are starting, we have 50k on "tanks are fine" coments and other 50k on "DRK not being mentioned again", any "we listen the comunity and DRK are going to be fixed" are on 5 millions, play safe play safe.

Maybe the PF locking could be a good thing. DRK may actually get the attention that it needs.

Oooooor SE will probably just do what they did with the MSQ dungeons and make it so you can no longer exclude specific jobs in PF. Which sadly, I wouldn't put it past them.

people would just put in the notes, no DRKs, and then kick any DRK who choses to join.

Could be good on the basis that the devs only look at raw data numbers.

So if they see for example people running 500 PLD/WAR compared to say 100 DRK then they will probably think something might be wrong.

And promptly boost DRK's Hard Slash by 5 potency lol

As a counter example, one locked PF doesn't indicate a problem. In fact, most PFs on my data center for O(5-8)S are locked to just one tank, with the other slot open.

So if they see for example people running 500 PLD/WAR compared to say 100 DRK then they will probably think something might be wrong.

Or simply conclude that they don't need to focus on DRK since nobody plays it anyway...

It indicates what people are already saying.
That there are those who dont want DRKs.

Obviously this doesnt apply to everyone. No one said otherwise.

There were plenty of groups accepting PLDs in Alexander, but because the hardcore groups didnt accept PLD would also mean it didnt indicate there are people who dont want PLD?

Everyone here knows and has said repeatedly, ad nauseam, that DRKs are capable of clearing content.
Its just more difficult.
I know not all DRKs are bad players, and my raid groups DRK isnt a bad player. But If he's more likely to die to the current teir of content in min iLv, compared to WAR or PLD in min iLv, then yes, we requested he switch to WAR or PLD. (And he did, and said how much easier it was, and we were able to actually get further quicker, despite the fact we could have gotten there later with him as DRK)

EDIT: with the strategy to have a solo WAR tank kill the tank add, which PLD cant do btw, that is TECHNIALLY a reason to fix DRK, as SE said that was a reason to fix WAR when PLD could solo tank the 4th floor of coils.

Technically, PLD lost access to several good cross-class skills, like Stoneskin and Bloodbath. It wouldn't be such a big deal if they weren't that fast to give back the AoE leech to WAR...

and gained accsess to represial. Where drk lost allso Bloodbath but instead gaining lost represial from they default kit.
and there is where doom and gloom started.
