Glamour dresser feedback

I was hoping this system would allow mutipe glamours for 1 piece of gear so i could have one set for rdm and another for smn. you can't expect people to run to an inn every time they change jobs make the system only apply on the gear set selected.

You can! You can choose which plate you want outside of an Inn on the character pane. It's the button next to the Recommended Gear button. You can also view your plates there.

To make the switch easier, make a macro. Quoting myself from another thread.

/micon 1 gearset
/change gearset 1 1

Breakdown of that:

The number in the first line, and the first number in the second line, are the numbers of the sets you want to wear (they should be the same). The second number on the second line is the number of the glamour plate you want to use.

As an example, my weaver is gearset 12, and uses glamour plate 5. So my macro to switch to weaver looks like this:

/micon 12 gearset
/gearset change 12 5

It works flawlessly. I currently have all my crafters in one gear set except ALC, which is in a set I've been sitting on for three (!!) years.

The system is still an improvement, but it needs some work. Just keep in mind the appearance won't swap outside resting areas. But you don't have to go to an inn.

did not see that then only issue I have is that there needs to be atleast 26 plates and make everything from salvager avalible in armoire. Plus please put mog purchases on armoire and salvager

Oh my god, PLEASE allow for us to retrieve items from the glamour dresser. This is a RIDICULOUS addition to the new glamour system. I threw in some leveling gear while really tired and just trying the thing out, then went to throw on my gear TO LEVEL, and now I have to go grind out the tomes to buy it all again. My own fault for not reading everything in depth, granted, but why would I assume that the dresser would EAT THE CLOTHES permanently? It's a dresser meant to hold clothes for an amount of time, right?Not, like, idk a garbage disposal. Though, I suppose I was wrong, about that..
