Good job.
If a person quits over waiting a few minutes for a new player to watch a cutscene, then they have some bigger problems in their life. That is a stupid reason to quit a game.

But I can understand the reaction to making cutscenes unskippable. I'm at the point where I chose the option in my General settings to not show cutscenes that have already been watched. But that begs the question ... if the scenes become unskippable, does that mean the party is all locked in that circle thing? Cause that is a bit heavy handed.

The parties I've been in let the new players know that they will be burning through the dungeon, and if they want them to wait to see like .. the end boss or whatever .. to speak up. Which so far, no new player has. Of course, I've also read that it is 'written' that parties burn through the MSQ roulette. Which I understand as it is old ARR content and we are on SB now.

But there is many extremes to deal with this ... which honestly, taking a few minutes to head to an Inn and watch the cutscenes (which BTW works perfectly fine) doesn't seem such a bad idea.
