I guess if that's how you want to play that's how you'd play. I certainly wouldn't deny people the use of a tool just because there are some who would troll with it.

You have the tools to deal with them as you did in grade school. Failing to take the appropriate steps yourself isn't the game giving them special treatment, it's you choosing to give them special treatment and accepting them as is.

As you could've as a group told your teacher of the students lack of participation and had them divorced from your groups grade you have the means to divorce yourselves from any player in your group you don't want there. If your group chooses to allow them to stay, that's your guys problem not the games or anyone elses.

In my own minds eye I can see opposing viewpoints from people that aren't like that at all, in yours that's apparently not the case and have plastered it on everyone that might disagree with me.

I apologize if I misinterpreted this, but this comes across awfully like "everyone who supports this idea is a lazy anti-social who thinks they're all that and don't want to mix with the peasants." Care to clarify if this is not your meaning?

I have no disdain for "lazy dps". I merely find it unfair that dps is the only role that can get away with being lazy in a way tanks and healers cannot be, as any objective measure of their contributions as dps is considered harassment.
