As far as I can remember it is the first dungeon with a boss with no tells. Not fun kiting the boss around as healer or range dps when tank dies. The biggest issue is a run issue. A lot of people who que up for it for XP are solo dps that want everyone to kill every trash mob and spawn every trash mob. Happy to help people clear any dungeon, not happy to help people farm xp. The other dungeons with all the extra trash people don't ask you to farm them.
Aurum Vale is still a good check dungeon for players, even those who have maxed level and ilevel. It will still put you in your place if you get too cocky. It doesn't need to be nerfed or changed. You need to get better or not do roulettes because, surprise, it's a random pick.
As for leaving? That was bad form for you (and the other person), in my opinion. Maybe that run would have gone super smoothly without hiccups? I can say that as DPS main, if a healer or tank did that after I'd sat in queue for 30+ minutes, I'd have been ragey and salty. So kudos to you for contributing to spoiling another's fun. Oh, but I forget:
Canadian, eh!"When someone told me I live in a fantasy land, I nearly fell off my unicorn"
I appreciate the fact that Aurum Vale isn't a complete faceroll. So, no. Don't change it. Dungeons in general are ridiculously easy. So this one can't be facerolled. Just deal with it.
Well. I really hate to break this to you, but this game is called Final Fantasy XIV, not Zexy Fantasy XIV. The developers cannot cater to just one person. So, you're just gonna have to deal with AV in all of its challenging, you-can't-pull-the-entire-first-room-and-go-nuts-with-it glory.

why are you taking a statement out of context then making me the bad guy? I pay and play this game to have fun and if Aurum Vale in it's current state doesn't make me happy why should I play it? are que times my responsibility? no ....Aurum Vale is still a good check dungeon for players, even those who have maxed level and ilevel. Everyone plays the game for fun, but quitters never prosper, I hated doing some of the old raids from HW but you know when I did them more and more in SB I just got used to them. The thing with quitting is your forcing people to wait on another player to come along and pop in, which can take anywhere from a few seconds to literally 30 mins. It's called being respectful of other players and as a mentor you should be setting a good example.
The only time that it's acceptable is everyone agrees then sets it to a vote to disband, otherwise its just rude.
So what you're saying is we need Aurum Vale (Hard) where the air is poisonous and you get a stacking poison effect the longer you stay in there?
